- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes
It was another beautiful sunny day here in the Comox Valley, and I found myself sitting in the McDonald’s parking lot this morning, taking a few moments to talk to the Universe before heading inside.
I spent some time expressing gratitude for things that are easy to overlook. My leg, which had been causing me trouble not long ago, seems to have healed remarkably well. It’s still throbbing a little, but I can walk again without the problems I was having before, and for that I’m genuinely thankful. I also thought ahead to my meeting with Amy later in the day and quietly hoped that our conversation might offer a little wisdom, a little clarity, and maybe even some insight.
As always, I asked for a little wink from the Universe—a coin, a quarter, some tiny reminder that I’m not walking through life entirely alone—and I found myself grateful for the unexpected joy that learning Sultans of Swing has already brought me.
Music was very much on my mind today. I came across what may be one of the best demonstrations I’ve seen yet of Mark Knopfler’s fingerstyle technique from the YouTube channel Stratnut. It wasn’t just about playing the notes; it was about understanding the movement of the picking hand and the subtle mechanics that give Knopfler his unmistakable sound. The more I watch, the more I realize that the secret isn’t speed—it’s touch, relaxation, and feel.
On the food front, I continued tinkering with the AI Wrap Diet. I picked up Bob’s Red Mill Textured Vegetable Protein and more nutritional yeast, explored the idea of using soy sauce with TVP, compared it to tofu, and even experimented with the idea of creating healthier cookies and coffee companions using oats, egg whites, applesauce, flaxseed, and a few pantry staples. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s finding something simple and satisfying enough that I can happily repeat it hundreds of times.
I also started thinking about the first anniversary of the AlreadyBecoming YouTube channel. It’s hard to believe that nearly a year has passed and that there are now well over a hundred little videos documenting ordinary moments: sunsets, caterpillars, forgotten buildings, quiet thoughts, chance encounters, and all the little things that have slowly taught me to pay more attention to my own life.
As evening approached, I found myself considering a trip to Goose Spit to watch the sun disappear behind the mountains and maybe capture a time-lapse of the changing light. Whether or not I end up going, it seems fitting somehow. The older I get, the more I’m convinced that life’s greatest treasures aren’t necessarily the grand adventures, but the willingness to stop, look around, and truly notice where we already are.
Maybe that’s what this whole journey has been about all along.
