I went to Costco with my daughter this afternoon. The big take for me was more “Sweet Potatoes”… I love these Creami “Sweet Potato” desserts so much I’m going to have to make a ton more of them and freeze them!

I also spent some time this afternoon taking photos of my various spices (see photo to the right) and sauces and such having ChatGPT determine if they are permissible on “The Calm Multi-Millionaire Fuel Plan” or not. It turns out that I thought I could have a lot of spices when I’m actually not allowed! For example, one of the salsas I’ve been using has sugar in it… One of the Kirkland Organic Salsas is good to each though. Here’s the full verdict on what I picked up at Costco today:

✅ 1. Club House Vegetable Seasoning

🧂 Main Ingredients: Dehydrated vegetables (onion, garlic, bell pepper, tomato), spices, vinegar solids, Worcestershire sauce solids (molasses, tamarind), sugar, salt.

🔎 Assessment:

  • Has a small amount of sugar and molasses in the Worcestershire solids.
  • Sodium is 135 mg per ½ tsp — moderate.
  • Used in very small quantities — likely < 1g per serving.

✅ Approved in moderation
Use lightly on roasted veggies or air-fried potatoes. You’re fine as long as it’s not coating the meal.


✅ 2. Paprika Blend (Woodland Gourmet?)

  • No salt, no sugar, no fat.

✅ Fully Approved
This is perfect. Great for seasoning anything from potatoes to Creami bases.

  • The sugar likely comes naturally from tomatoes, but could spike insulin slightly.
