Daily Notes
I left around 7pm this evening to go to the BC Liquor Location in Comox, near Smitty’s, to pick up the gin bottle, the one that said “martini” and you felt would be most emblematic of James Bond. Well, when I got there I learned that the store closed at 7pm… Not sure what the Universe was telling me about that.
I then went across the bridge to Courtenay to see about martini glasses with large stems in Canadian Tire. There were none… Not sure what the Universe was telling me about that.

So, I went back across the bridge to Thrifty Foods to pick up some tomato sauce to make ketchup. There was a Cascadia Liquor Store next door so I stopped in. They had the same gin that the BC Liquor Location store that was closed had, but a bit more expensive. I got to see the bottles from smallest to largest (see photo to the right). This is the exact type that ChatGPT told me that James Bond would drink. I think the 750 ml one we decided upon might be too small, too many refills from the gallon jug of water near my desk, so I think the 1.14 liter one will be better.
While at Cascadia a girl employee, maybe in her 20’s, came up to me and said “How are you doing”. There was another one behind the counter with a COVID era mask on. I didn’t buy anything… Thinking…
I finished reading “Kirk & Evie – Chapter 2 – Barefoot in the Stillness” this evening. Even created and added an image…
