- …
- ✅ #06: ☕ Over AM Coffee, say Terje’s Script! (*** NOTES ***) (12:46 pm!)
- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes
Today was one of those days that wandered through a surprising mix of history, music, manifestation, business ideas, food experiments, and everyday life. I started by going down a few interesting rabbit holes, including Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson and their brief romantic involvement, and then I found myself fascinated by an old performance of The Kim Sisters and The Kim Brothers singing “Little Darlin’” on The Ed Sullivan Show. One of the Kim Sisters steps up to the microphone to sing alongside one of the Kim Brothers, and I became curious about exactly which sister she was. Sometimes it’s these tiny mysteries from decades ago that grab my attention and send me searching.
I also spent some time looking into the controversial 1977 book Elvis: What Happened?, published shortly before Elvis Presley died. The stories told by members of his former entourage painted a disturbing picture of the final years of his life—prescription drugs, guns, increasingly erratic behaviour, and the people around him becoming genuinely worried about where it was all heading. Later, my musical time machine landed in September 1965, wondering what the Beatles were doing. They had just finished their enormous North American tour at the end of August and were enjoying a brief break before heading into the studio in October to begin recording Rubber Soul. What an incredible moment that must have been—Beatlemania behind them and one of the greatest periods of musical creativity in history just about to begin.

Around 12:46 this afternoon, I was out running errands beneath an overcast sky that looked like it might produce a little rain. I went to the locksmith who made the spare key for the eTrike as it would not fit (see photo to the right). I think it might be just a bit too thick. He suggested I bring the battery in so we can make sure the next one will work. I will do that!
I talked to the Universe and reminded myself of something very basic but important: I’m healthy, happy, and alive. I want to become more present and centered—to develop something like my calm Kung Fu master self. I admitted that I would still love to receive some of those little “winks” from the Universe, but I’m also trying to reach a place where I don’t need them. If they appear, wonderful. If they don’t, perhaps I simply continue forward anyway.
The AI Diet continued evolving today as well. I watched Mandy, Andrew Taylor’s wife, explain her idea of a “potato displacement diet.” Rather than eating nothing but potatoes, her idea is to use potatoes to displace less desirable, higher-calorie foods while still eating vegetables and other healthy ingredients. She demonstrated a big breakfast salad built around potatoes, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, red onion, herbs, spices, lemon juice, and optional tempeh. I like the underlying philosophy because it connects naturally with what I’ve been developing myself: potatoes don’t necessarily have to be the only food—they can become the foundation that pushes less helpful foods off the plate.
That led naturally into another milestone for The AI Diet Plan. Today I created Chapter #16: “Becoming a Scientist.” This chapter represents an increasingly important part of my philosophy: stop guessing and start collecting data. Instead of endlessly jumping from one diet idea to another, establish a baseline, measure what happens, introduce one change at a time, and see what the evidence actually tells you. I also created a new graphic for the chapter built around the idea of Test → Measure → Learn → Repeat. In many ways, that’s becoming the heart of the entire project. I’m no longer simply trying to “go on a diet.” I’m conducting an experiment on myself to discover a sustainable way of eating that can eventually become my Forever Diet.
Interestingly, I also watched a Maggie Murphy manifestation video today that connected surprisingly well with that experimental mindset. She described spending only about seven minutes affirming that every new YouTube video she uploaded would bring her 1,000 subscribers. She didn’t simply repeat the words mechanically; she allowed herself to mentally explore what that reality would feel like, and then she let it go. The next morning, she woke up with an idea for a video already formed in her mind. That video became the most successful on her channel, quickly reaching around 17,000 views and generating 463 subscribers. Her theory was fascinating: perhaps manifestation sometimes works by focusing the brain’s attention so that we suddenly recognize ideas, opportunities, and next steps that were already available to us.
That idea resonates with me. Maybe the “wink” isn’t always a loonie or a toonie lying on the ground. Maybe sometimes the wink is an idea. Maybe it’s an unexpected conversation. Maybe it’s waking up knowing what to do next. Perhaps the important thing is setting an intention, becoming receptive, and then paying attention.
I also spent considerable time today thinking about another possible adventure: owning a franchise in the Comox Valley. Initially, the research pointed toward senior home care as an attractive combination of growing demand, relatively low startup costs, strong revenue potential, and resistance to the coming AI onslaught. But then I narrowed the question considerably: What if I wanted a physical business near Smitty’s in downtown Comox?
That changed everything.
For that particular area, I became intrigued by the idea of a Panera- or Breka-style bakery café—not merely another coffee shop, but a comfortable community gathering place offering excellent coffee, fresh bakery items, soups, sandwiches, salads, breakfast, desserts, Wi-Fi, and plenty of comfortable seating. Somewhere you could go for coffee in the morning, lunch at noon, meet someone in the afternoon, or sit with coffee and dessert in the evening. After researching actual franchises, Coffee Culture Café & Eatery emerged as the most interesting possibility to investigate, although I also started wondering whether creating an independent Comox-specific concept might ultimately make more sense than paying franchise royalties. It’s only an idea right now, but it’s the kind of idea I enjoy exploring. Who knows where these things lead?
And then there was the simple pleasure of ending the day in a familiar way. This evening, I went to McDonald’s for a black coffee. When I got home, I took the eTrike out for another ride. I had taken the backrest off the seat, and it turned out to be a great little modification. Without the backrest restricting me, I can lean farther back and settle into a much more comfortable riding position. The ride felt better.
That’s how progress often seems to happen in my life—not necessarily through one enormous breakthrough, but through experiments. Take off the backrest. See what happens. Change one ingredient. See what happens. Try an affirmation for seven minutes. See what happens. Explore a business idea. See where it leads.
Test. Measure. Learn. Repeat.
Maybe today really was about becoming a scientist—not only with my diet, but with my life.
Eat simple. Live large. And keep experimenting.
