    • #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
    • #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
    • #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
    • #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
    • #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
    • #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes

Today turned out to be one of those days that perfectly captures what this transformation has become all about. It wasn’t a day filled with dramatic events or major accomplishments. Instead, it was a collection of thoughtful conversations, quiet reflections, family moments, and one unexpectedly fascinating little experiment that left me smiling all the way home.

The day began with a milestone. One year ago today I was busily putting the finishing touches on the very first video for my channel, which would be uploaded the following day. It hardly seems possible that an entire year has passed. Looking back over nearly one hundred videos, I realized the channel has never really been about teaching other people. It has been a public journal of my own Becoming—a place where I can explore ideas, document life’s little adventures, and simply pay attention to the world around me. I decided it would be fitting to create an anniversary video for this week’s upload, reflecting on everything this past year has meant.

Regarding manifestation, Neville Goddard talks about identity, and the difference between trying to force life to happen versus living from the identity of the person I hope to become. A phrase I had heard in a video the night before kept echoing in my mind: “Stop manifesting. Start remembering.” The speaker suggested that constantly trying to manifest something reinforces the idea that we don’t already have it. Instead, perhaps the better approach is to walk through life as though the future we desire has already begun. That idea really resonated with me.

Later in the afternoon, the whole family went to Benino’s. They enjoyed gelato and I stayed on my AI Diet with a double espresso. My son was still hungry afterward, so I went back and bought him another medium bubblegum gelato. We had hoped to play one of our board games, but several of them were missing pieces or took too long to set up. Rather than give up, I invented a simple card game inspired by the old game of “Old Maid” that I used to play as a kid. We paired matching cards together, left one unpaired ace in the deck, and took turns drawing cards until one unlucky person was left holding the ace. We ended up playing several rounds and had a surprisingly good time.

After Benino’s we drove down to Goose Spit to enjoy the beautiful weather. It was sunny without being overwhelmingly hot like it had been a couple of days earlier. While everyone wandered along the shoreline, I noticed something that immediately caught my attention. Sitting on top of one of the weathered wooden posts overlooking the ocean was a tiny plastic triceratops. It seemed completely out of place against the backdrop of driftwood, mountains, blue sky, and ocean. I couldn’t resist photographing it. Whoever left that little dinosaur there will probably never know who found it, but for a few moments it made me smile. It reminded me that perhaps one of the greatest gifts we can leave behind is a small surprise that brightens someone else’s day.

I also crossed another little task off my list by cleaning out the bathroom sink drain and installing the new drain stopper. It’s not exactly exciting work, but those small acts of maintenance make life just a little smoother. I’ve been realizing lately that Becoming isn’t only about the big dreams. It’s also about quietly taking care of the little things that make tomorrow better than today.

As evening approached, I found myself sitting at McDonald’s reflecting on everything we’d discussed earlier about manifestation. Rather than debating philosophy, I decided to run a little experiment.

I told ChatGPT that I wanted to find a toonie before I got home.

Instead of treating it as a test of whether the Universe exists, we reframed it as a game of attention and curiosity. Together we came up with a simple action plan.

First, I spent about thirty seconds vividly imagining a Canadian toonie—its silver outer ring, its gold-colored center, the weight of it in my hand, and the sound it makes when it lands on a table. The goal wasn’t to magically create a coin. It was to prime my mind to recognize one if it happened to appear.

Second, I set a simple intention: “Universe, I’d love to find a toonie before I get home today. If it serves my highest good, I’m open to that little surprise. I’ll stay observant, grateful, and curious along the way.”

Third, I deliberately shifted from what we called hunting mode into expectation mode. Instead of desperately scanning every inch of pavement thinking, “Where is it?” I simply carried the relaxed expectation that if a toonie happened to cross my path, I would notice it.

Finally, I gave myself permission to follow little nudges. If I felt like checking a parking lot or taking a slightly different route home, I would do so—not out of desperation, but out of curiosity.

So I left McDonald’s and began exploring.

I drove through the Thrifty Foods parking lot. Nothing.

I checked Beaver Convenience Store. Nothing.

I drove through the casino parking lot. Nothing.

I circled the RBC branch. Nothing.

I explored behind the Real Canadian Superstore. Still nothing.

At that point I decided the experiment was over and started heading home.

Except I accidentally took a wrong turn.

Instead of exiting the area, I found myself beside a lone shopping cart sitting by itself in the parking lot.

I thought to myself, “I wonder if there’s a coin in it?”

Had I understood those shopping carts a little better, I probably would have realized there wasn’t one and simply driven away. But because I wasn’t sure, I decided to do something useful and return the stray cart to the cart corral.

Ironically, the cart I returned didn’t have a coin.

But the cart directly in front of it did.

There, sitting in plain sight, was a loonie (see photo to the left).

I couldn’t help but laugh.

I had set out looking for a toonie and instead found a loonie.

Curiosity got the better of me. I thought, “I wonder if there are any more?”

So I walked over to another cart corral near the far end of the parking lot, close to Mary Brown’s.

Sure enough…

Another shopping cart.

Another loonie (see photo to the right).

Suddenly I was holding two one-dollar coins.

Only then did the irony hit me.

I hadn’t found the toonie I had asked for.

I had found two loonies.

Together they were worth exactly… one toonie.

I couldn’t help but smile.

Could I claim that the Universe had manifested two loonies instead of one toonie?

I honestly don’t know.

Could I prove anything happened beyond coincidence?

Of course not.

But I can honestly say this:

Setting a clear intention changed how I moved through the world. Instead of driving home on autopilot, I became curious. I paid attention. I explored places I normally wouldn’t have explored. I followed an unexpected turn. I performed a small act of kindness by returning a shopping cart. And in the process I ended up with two loonies, several photographs, and one of the most enjoyable little adventures I’ve had in quite a while.

After finding the second loonie I kept the experiment going. I checked the Quality Foods parking lot, the Seventh-day Adventist Church parking lot, the seniors’ residence parking lot, and the Sports Centre parking lot. I didn’t find another coin.

As I drove home, I couldn’t help but laugh to myself.

It almost felt as though the Universe was saying,

“Okay… we’ve had our fun with this little game. Time to head home.”

Whether that was the Universe, coincidence, selective attention, or simply a playful evening, I’m not entirely sure.

What I do know is that I came home richer than when I left—not just by two dollars, but by the experience itself.

Perhaps that was the real gift.

Not the coins.

Not even the possibility of manifestation.

But the reminder that when I move through life with curiosity instead of lack, with openness instead of desperation, ordinary evenings have a way of becoming memorable adventures.

And maybe that’s what Becoming has been trying to teach me all along.
