- ✅ #06: ☕ Over AM Coffee, say Terje’s Script! (*** NOTES ***) (9:51 pm!)
- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes
Today turned into one of those days where a surprising number of seemingly unrelated things somehow revolved around the same question: what comes next?
A good part of the day was spent thinking about YouTube. The new YouTube watch-hour requirements certainly make monetization look daunting, and I spent some time looking at strategies for starting a channel from scratch. One idea that kept rising to the top was a video called “I’m 66. Here’s What Nobody Told Me About Getting Older.” More importantly, I started looking at successful channels aimed at people in the second half of life and thinking less about what I simply want to make and more about what people might actually want to watch. Perhaps the way forward is not to expect every video to work, but to make ten carefully chosen videos, study the results and learn.
That same experimental philosophy applied to The Next Chapter. Yesterday’s Facebook advertising had produced 30 landing-page visitors but not a single signup. Rather than abandon the idea, I completely changed the proposition on the landing page. Instead of asking people merely to join me on an undefined journey, I now offer something concrete and free: “The Next Chapter: 7 Questions to Help You Decide What You Want From the Years Ahead.” The redesigned page went live today. Now I’ll leave it alone and see what the next group of visitors actually does.
There was another little act of giving today. I prepared more Filipino treats for my friends at McDonald’s, along with a handwritten card thanking them for always being so friendly, cheerful and helpful and for making my days a little brighter. The idea is to give those who grew up with the treats a little taste of home while giving everyone else something new to try. Marvie was working, though, so I decided to save this batch for another Filipino manager when she is on shift.

I stopped at Dollarama as well and came across a couple of amusing finds: bags of old-fashioned Popeye candy sticks and some handy little bamboo-toothpick dispensers. But the really interesting Dollarama discovery was outside. Underneath a rose bush I noticed a small blue-and-red Spider-Man Happy Meal toy. It seemed to be missing a piece. I took a picture but left it sitting there.
Later I took my daughter out driving, and in the evening I returned to McDonald’s for another black coffee. While there, I spotted a strange little red plastic piece underneath a table. For some reason I thought about that Spider-Man toy I’d seen hours earlier across the street. Could they possibly belong together?
Curiosity won.
I walked back across to Dollarama, retrieved the Spider-Man toy from underneath the bushes, brought it back—and amazingly, the red piece fit it perfectly (see photo to the right).
For a moment, this seemed almost too good. Part A and Part B had somehow appeared in two completely different places during the same day, and I happened to notice both. My mind immediately went to the Universe. Was this another little demonstration of how apparently separate pieces can somehow be brought together? I even thought about: boy meets girl, two people somehow finding each other despite all the seemingly impossible circumstances between them.
There was just one problem.
The Spider-Man toy didn’t work.
The main mechanism was broken. In fact, that was probably why some child had discarded it in the bushes in the first place.
That changed the metaphor rather dramatically! Two pieces could fit perfectly—and yet the thing itself still might not work.
At 9:51 tonight, sitting at McDonald’s with my black coffee, I recorded a Universe entry about it. I wondered whether the broken toy was supposed to mean something too. Was I being told that two things can appear to fit perfectly and nevertheless not belong together? Was there some message? Or was I simply taking a funny coincidence and trying too hard to turn it into a cosmic telegram?
I don’t know.
Maybe I don’t have to know.
In fact, the whole strange episode may contain a pretty good lesson for AlreadyBecoming. Perhaps becoming isn’t about receiving unmistakable signs telling us exactly what to do. Maybe it’s about paying attention. Being curious. Following an interesting thread. Finding pieces. Putting them together. And then—this is important—seeing whether they actually work.
That’s what I’m doing with The Next Chapter. That’s what I’m doing with YouTube. That’s what I’m doing with Coffee Club. And, in a much larger sense, perhaps that’s what I’m doing with this stage of my life.
Not every pair of pieces that fit will work.
Not every experiment will succeed.
Not every coincidence needs an explanation.
But I’ll keep noticing the pieces.
And I’ll keep putting them together.
PS: Alas, I found out that next month could be Marvie’s last month! His visa is running out and he might have to go back to the Philippines!
