- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes
Today began with sunshine.
Just after noon, before taking my daughter to school, I sat for a few moments and had my usual conversation with the Universe. I thanked it for another day of life, for the beautiful weather, and for the growing understanding that perhaps the whole point of life is not to spend every moment chasing the future, but to enjoy the moment I’m actually living in. It’s an idea that seems simple, yet I find myself needing to relearn it over and over again.
As I spoke, I found myself reflecting on all the things I still hope for. Connection. Financial abundance. New adventures. New chapters. New experiences. Yet I also found myself recognizing that if those things are meant for me, they will arrive when they are supposed to arrive. My job is not to force them into existence but to keep moving forward, paying attention, and staying open. Along the way, I still enjoy asking for little winks. This morning I wondered whether there might be a coin waiting for me somewhere as I dropped my daughter off at school. There’s something childlike and playful about that. A reminder that life doesn’t always have to be serious.
One of the highlights of the morning was stepping on the scale. The number staring back at me was 341.9 pounds. That means I am now exactly twenty pounds lighter than where I started. Twenty pounds. When I stop and think about it, that’s not a trivial amount of weight. That’s twenty pounds my knees no longer have to carry. Twenty pounds that isn’t putting pressure on my joints. Twenty pounds that isn’t coming up and down every staircase with me. It’s easy to focus on how far there is still to go, but today felt like a reminder that progress deserves recognition too.
I also spent part of the day looking at investments. Three of my recent limit orders filled, adding positions in Lumentum, BWX Technologies, and CME Group. I spent some time exploring Fidelity’s options platform and discovered that I appear to already have approval for options trading inside my Roth IRA. That opened up a rabbit hole involving cash-secured puts and the possibility of getting paid while waiting for stocks to come down to prices where I would happily own them. NVIDIA became the focus of much of that exploration. I haven’t decided what I will do, but I learned a great deal, and learning is never wasted.
Another encouraging moment came when I checked the statistics for the newsletter. What caught my attention even more than the number of subscribers was the engagement. Nearly seventy percent of recipients are opening the emails, and more than eighteen percent are clicking through. Those are remarkable numbers for a small newsletter. It reminded me that meaningful things often begin quietly. Most successful projects don’t start with thousands of people. They start with one person, then another, and then another.

As the day moved toward evening, I found myself at McDonald’s. I picked up a coffee and decided to treat myself to a vanilla soft-serve cone (see photo to the right). The cone itself was almost comically perfect, stacked high with neat spirals that looked like they had been crafted by someone who took pride in their work. Sitting there with my coffee and ice cream, I reflected on the day. Earlier I had been thinking about eggs, vegetables, weight loss, spreadsheets, and goals. Now I was sitting quietly enjoying a simple ice cream cone. Life seems to consist of these little contradictions. We strive for improvement while also trying to appreciate the present moment. Perhaps both are necessary.
Looking back on the day, I don’t see any earth-shattering events. No million-dollar checks. No soulmate appearing out of nowhere. No dramatic revelations. Instead, I see something that may be even more important: another ordinary day lived consciously. A day that included gratitude, progress, learning, parenting, planning, investing, creating, hoping, and enjoying a small ice cream cone on a sunny June evening.
Twenty pounds down.
One more subscriber.
Three new stock positions.
A reminder about detachment.
A conversation with the Universe.
And another day successfully lived.
Not a bad way to begin June.
