    • #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
    • #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
    • #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
    • #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
    • #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
    • #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
    • #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes

Today I spent a fair amount of time working on two things that are closely connected: my Universal Planner and the next version of my AI Diet Plan. Both came back to the same question: how do I make progress without making the process so cumbersome that I eventually stop using it?

My planner has grown to include roughly 26 projects. I like having a place to keep track of ideas, active projects, closed projects, and whatever comes next. Maintaining all of that, however, can feel overwhelming. What I really want is to open it in the morning and get on with something useful.

We set up a new Daily Becoming page around two daily goals: one hour devoted to getting fit and one hour for my other projects. The fitness hour can include preparing food, tracking, movement, and recovery. The other hour gives me room for writing, reading, creative work, and some of the interests that otherwise keep getting pushed aside. The page suggests small tasks, lets me change projects, and adds up the minutes I actually spend.

Once it was installed, I started making it more comfortable to use. The task rows were too tall, so we shortened them. I widened columns so I could read the descriptions and moved my original Daily Becoming log farther along the tabs. I want to preserve that history while giving myself a clearer place to work now. I also asked for changing status colours and a counter for days when I meet both goals. Seeing progress matters to me.

For dinner this evening I went to the Country Market up on Island Highway for their “Roast Beef Dinner” (see photo to the right). I watched a bit of “Fallout” while I munched away…

Then there was the chili. I had plenty of ingredients available, so we built a batch around what was already in the kitchen: black beans, onions, yellow pepper, mushrooms, diced tomatoes, textured vegetable protein, cauliflower rice, tomato paste, and seasonings. I talked to ChatGPT through my phone while weighing ingredients and photographing labels.

The beans went into the Instant Pot first. When they came out soft and yummy, we started adding the rest. At one point, we discussed cooking the vegetables separately in a frying pan or air fryer. Eventually I asked whether I could just put them into the pot raw. I could—and that suited me much better.

The finished batch weighed 3,031 grams. Our working estimate was about 54 calories per 100 grams, which gives me a practical way to weigh a serving and estimate its calories. The flavour was okay. I’ll learn more about how useful this recipe is once I’ve eaten proper portions and reheated it.

I called it a good exercise, but it took longer than I’d like. Next time I want to simplify things: weigh the ingredients, record them, and get them cooking with less fuss. Canned or previously cooked beans could help.

That seems to be where I am with both projects. I’m willing to put in the effort. I just want the everyday routine to be manageable enough that I keep coming back to it. Today gave me a working planner, a pot of chili, and a few clearer ideas about what would make tomorrow easier.
