📋Additional Daily Notes
There’s something about today that feels like a beginning. Not loud. Not dramatic. Just… a quiet shift. The kind you almost miss if you’re not paying attention. The kind that says: this is where it starts again.
Today is Day #0001 of AI Diet v2.0.
And instead of overthinking it, I just started with a plate.
At 10:00 am, that plate showed up as something simple: tofu, frozen vegetables, baby potatoes, a bit of gravy, and a slice of sprouted bread. Nothing fancy. Nothing extreme. Just something I could repeat. That’s always been the key. Not perfection — repetition.
By 12:15 pm, it was more of the same. Same structure. Same idea. Potatoes, vegetables, tofu. No decisions needed. No mental gymnastics. Just the quiet rhythm of doing something that works.
Somewhere around 1:00 pm, I grabbed a small McDonald’s coffee. Nothing complicated. Just part of the day. Part of the flow.
Then came the shift.

At 2:30 pm, I changed things up a bit. A lighter plate this time — a quarter package of Annie’s Mac & Cheese, tofu again, pickles, tomato, lettuce, and a bit of dressing (see photo to the right). It felt different. Less dense. Still filling. Still aligned. And without really noticing it, I repeated that same meal again at 3:15 pm. And then again later — slightly adjusted, swapping the rice cake for an apple, adding a Maison Perrier raspberry water.
There’s something interesting about repetition. You don’t always notice it while it’s happening. But by the end of the day, you can see the pattern. And patterns are where change lives.
Somewhere in between all of this, I found myself thinking about something I heard — about speaking your desire out loud, in past tense, as if it’s already done. Saying it 100 times a day. Giving thanks for something that hasn’t happened yet… or maybe already has, just not visibly.
And I had to ask the question: is that worth it?
The answer that came wasn’t extreme. It wasn’t “yes, this is the secret” or “no, this is nonsense.” It was quieter than that.
It’s not magic.
But it’s not useless either.
Because maybe it’s not about changing reality directly. Maybe it’s about changing how you move through it. The tone you carry. The story you tell yourself about what’s happening. The difference between reacting… and choosing.
There are always two stories.
The dogs bark at night… and one version of you hears a threat. Another hears something harmless. Same sound. Different meaning. And somehow, the meaning shapes the experience more than the event itself.
The girls giggled… and I imagined.
That line stuck with me.
Not because of what happened. But because of what was added to what happened.
And maybe that’s what today really was.
Not just meals and calories — though those matter. Not just numbers — though I tracked them. Somewhere around 1,855 to 2,090 calories for the day. Three cups of water. Two coffees. No Zevia. A solid day. A repeatable day.
But underneath that… something else.
A shift in how the day is seen.
A recognition that this isn’t about forcing change. It’s about allowing a pattern to emerge. One plate at a time. One choice at a time. One quiet repetition after another.
Like the camellia tree just starting to bloom.
Not everything at once.
Just one.
And the rest?
Still becoming.
