📋Additional Daily Notes

This morning I opened with my checklist, grounding myself again in that Neville Goddard state that continues to resonate: I am 100% OKAY WITH NOT GETTING THIS THING, BUT I KNOW I WILL GET IT. There’s something stabilizing about that thought, like it removes pressure while quietly reinforcing certainty. The scale reflected progress too—down 9.3 pounds from my starting point—which, while not dramatic in a single day, continues to stack into something meaningful. There were no Nighttime Whispers to record this morning, but I stayed consistent with Terje’s Spirit Lab, logging Day #5 at 4:59 pm, continuing that experiment of tuning into guidance rather than just reacting to life.
The day itself unfolded out in the world, almost like a series of scenes. It started at A&W, sitting down to a full breakfast—eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, coffee—while watching a video about where the market might be going (see photo to the right). The message was clear: don’t sit in cash. And there I was, sitting there with a large portion of my capital doing exactly that, not out of fear, but out of caution. It wasn’t lost on me that I wasn’t just watching the video—I was measuring myself against it. That moment carried a certain tension, the kind that comes when you know a decision is approaching but hasn’t fully formed yet.
By noon, I found myself at Benino’s (2nd part of photo to the right), and the energy had shifted. The urgency of the morning had softened into something quieter. A cappuccino sat in front of me, foam perfectly settled, alongside a crumble bar that felt more like a pause than a meal. The tablet was still there, still playing, but I wasn’t absorbing information the same way. I was processing now, not deciding. The world outside the window moved at its usual pace, but inside, things had slowed down. It felt like the middle space between input and action, where ideas settle and rearrange themselves.
The evening carried me to Dairy Queen (3rd part of photo to the right), where the tone shifted again—this time toward comfort. A burger and fries, simple, familiar, no analysis required. By then, the market thoughts hadn’t disappeared, but they weren’t front and center either. It was more about sitting, unwinding, letting the day exhale. And then, almost as if completing the arc, I ended up at McDonald’s, where I came across an article about a machine learning algorithm predicting Nvidia’s stock price by the end of the month. It was fascinating—not because I believed it could truly predict the future, but because of what it represented. After a full day of thinking, reflecting, and stepping back, here was something offering certainty. A number. A date. A suggestion that the unknown could be made known.
Somewhere in that progression—from A&W to Benino’s to Dairy Queen to McDonald’s—the pattern of the day revealed itself. It wasn’t just about food or locations. It was about states. I moved from engagement to reflection, from reflection to comfort, and from comfort to temptation—the temptation to believe that clarity could come from outside instead of being built from within. The same pattern showed up in my eating as well. Despite the intention of a simplified “Weekly Food Diet,” the day unfolded more freely—breakfast, coffee and dessert, fast food dinner—less structured than planned, more responsive to environment than design. Not a failure, just information.
Back at the checklist, a few things moved forward. I continued reading the Keith Moon book, reaching page 78, and played a few games of chess, keeping that thread alive. Other items remained untouched—AI learning, investing study, videos—but they didn’t feel abandoned, just waiting. The Barn Suite projects, the music studio, the bookkeeping—still there, still part of the larger structure I’m building, even if today wasn’t the day they moved.
Looking back, today wasn’t about productivity in the traditional sense. It was about awareness. About seeing how easily a day can be shaped by environment, by subtle emotional shifts, by the sequence of what comes next. And maybe more importantly, it was about recognizing that I’m not just moving through tasks anymore—I’m moving through patterns. The real question going forward isn’t whether I can plan a perfect day, but whether I can start to guide those patterns more intentionally.
