2025-05-08 - Ninja Creami

I went to Walmart this afternoon and picked up some KitchenAid metal measuring cups at $19.95 and some KitchenAid metal measuring spoons for under $15! I was debating on whether to spend the money on these items, but I love the fact that the size of each utensil is written in black on the handle. It will not fade or wear off, so it’s easy to see what size it is, something that I’ve always struggled with on plastic and bamboo utensils like this. Problem solved…

The big news for today though is that I put the Ninja Creami (see photo to the right) through it’s paces for the first time this evening. Last night I froze three containers, an (1) almond milk/Splenda mixture, an (2) almond milk/date mixture, and an (3) Orange Julius mixture. Both turned out wonderful, but I did need to add some maple syrup to #1 and #3. I love this machine so much I’m thinking of getting one for the “Main House”.
