Daily Notes

After dropping my daughter off at school this morning I went to A&W for breakfast. Instead of just picking it up at the drive thru, I went inside. The first thing I noticed is the number of old people there eating and chatting. It’s obviously an “old person” hangout in the morning. I picked up their “All Canadian Breakfast”, along with a coffee (served in a mug I might add), and went to a booth to watch the latest “tariff news” on my Kindle (see photo to the right). Unfortunately the tariffs on NVidia are sharp and center! Oh, and they have lots of peanut butter and jam on the counter that is there for the taking. Gotta love that!
I watched Season #1, Episode #1, “The Arrivals” on the laptop in bed this morning. I’m going to try to relax more and watch a bit more HBO, and the bed seems like a good place to do it. It’s an interesting series, and it looks like someone is going to die by the end of Season #1!

This evening I went to Smitty’s (see photo to the left) for my usual breakfast as I’m going to start my diet on Monday. I was tempted by the nachos, but their breakfast with pancakes won out! Today was quite the unusual restaurant day, with two breakfasts at restaurants! First A&W and then Smitty’s.
While at Smitty’s I started to catch up on my “Paul McCartney” Kindle book. I want to finish this while I’m on my Potato+ (or whatever I will be calling it diet). I’ve got my photos from the Paul McCartney concert in November now, I just need to find time to put them into the frame.
One thing that I like about Smitty’s is that they give you a huge pot of coffee so you don’t need to have to keep relying on the waitress to stop by to “Top Up”!
I unpacked my new tripod today. I’m going to use this for my new YouTube channel in which I offer advice to those people younger than me. Will this be the one that earns $$$. Let’s hope so, the market has been brutal the past few weeks!
