    • #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
    • #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
    • #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
    • #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
    • #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
    • #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
    • #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes

2026-10-26 - Homemade Breakfast

I made myself a tasty little breakfast this morning (see photo to the right).

Today was a mixture of practical problems, small discoveries, and bigger questions about what I want from life. Somehow, homemade berry jam led to researching a replacement microwave, while a video about exercise offered a reminder that progress can happen in the spaces between everything else.

I explored making a simple spread from frozen berries, lemon juice, and perhaps a little ground flaxseed for thickening. I wondered whether I could use the microwave, air fryer, or dehydrator. The microwave sounded convenient until I admitted that mine doesn’t work very well. I also spotted St. Dalfour raspberry spread at Thrifty’s and wondered whether buying a jar would accomplish the same thing. The useful distinction was that its fruit-juice concentrates still contribute sugar and calories. Homemade would let me enjoy a more generous serving for fewer calories, while a purchased jar would save preparation. Both have their place.

The microwave turned into a project of its own. I took photos and discovered that my Panasonic was manufactured in July 2006. Twenty years is a respectable run, but lately it has been stopping partway through cooking. Short sessions sometimes seem fine; longer ones can leave it making all the usual noises while the food stays cold. The photos also showed deterioration around the lower opening. Replacing it began to seem more sensible than continuing to work around it.

I learned that the mounting screws are hidden in the cupboard above it, which explained why I couldn’t see how the thing came down. More reassuringly, I found that I could buy a replacement and arrange installation and removal rather than tackle it myself. I compared Courtenay Appliances, Home Depot, Best Buy, and Trail Appliances, learning along the way that Trail serves Courtenay but doesn’t have a showroom here.

After comparing several models and questioning whether spending more would buy something worthwhile, the Frigidaire Gallery GMOS1962AF emerged as the leading candidate. It was listed at about $500, with sensor cooking and stronger ventilation than the basic model. I haven’t bought anything yet, but I now have a clearer idea of what to ask for and what the complete replacement might cost.

My iPhone provided another technical distraction. Photos weren’t displaying properly in messages, and I wondered whether the phone was full. Checking revealed that I had used 120.55 GB of its 128 GB capacity. There was still some room, so storage wasn’t a confirmed explanation, but it was clearly time to pay attention. The phone offered more than 26 GB of message attachments to review. Looking at the long list, I could already imagine how tedious selecting them individually would be. Offloading unused apps seemed a less painful place to start.

One of the more useful ideas today came from Andrew at Spud Fit. Instead of showing what he ate, he showed how he moved: walking, adding lunges along the way, doing push-ups while waiting for food, and fitting small amounts of exercise into breaks and family time. His approach made me think about how easily movement becomes something postponed until there is a proper block of time. There may be opportunities in an ordinary day that I haven’t been using.

At 6:19 p.m., I recorded a message to the Universe. I was looking forward to the Daily Grand draw and thinking about the possibility of a life-changing win. But beneath that excitement was a harder question: do I want the money itself, or the freedom and happiness I imagine it could bring?

I kept going. One foot in front of the other—looking after practical things, exploring ideas, making plans for my son, and trying to understand what would make life feel better.
