Day #0354 – (Fri., Aug. 16, 2024) – Potato+ Modified Diet

  1. {Morning} Listen to the “10 Minute Morning Meditation” Routine as soon as you can in the day, preferably when you first wake up! (Yep, first thing!)

  4. Weigh yourself! (361.9 lbs. – 338.3 lbs. = 23.6 lbs. total weight loss.)
  5. Watch “SpudFit” Videos ! (I watched his first video while cooking up my first batch of potatoes in my Instant Pot!)
  6. Focus on “JOY & NOW” (Video Here, Shorter Version, Shortest Version, Short Enchilada)! <>
  7. {Noon} Listen to the “30 Minute Noon Meditation” sometime today! (Yes, a couple of times!)
  8. Read “Presto” by Penn Jillette! (Up to page #163!)

Daily Notes

So today I’m starting my “Potato+ Modified Diet”. The original two week CrayRay “Potato Diet” was perhaps a bit too harsh, but I did enjoy the average 0.7 lbs. loss each day. The “Vegan Diet” I was on for the past two weeks offered up a variety of tastes, but I didn’t really lose much weight, so I’m thinking of it as a maintenance diet. This leads us to today… So, here’s what I’m thinking I will do for the next two weeks.

  1. My starch and primary food will be potatoes!
  2. I’m allowed condiments, like hot sauce, mustard, ketchup, and soya sauce.
  3. One vegetable each day, like carrots, onions, or pickles.
  4. Some vegetable milk like almond milk, rice milk, or oat milk for my coffee and “mash”.
  5. Natural flavored carbonated sparkling water drinks.
  6. One piece of fruit each day, such as an apple or orange.
  7. No exercise till I reach my ideal weight.
2024-08-16 - First Potato Meal

For some reason I was really sleepy today, and not very hungry, so I slept till the afternoon. When I did get up, my first meal of the day was at 5:05 pm!!! I thought I would go rather simply with this first meal, just some mashed potatoes courtesy of the Instant Pot, with some tabasco sauce and black pepper for seasoning. I had a Compliments “Passion Fruit” sparkling water to wash it all down (see photo to the right).

For dinner this evening I had some “smashed” potatoes in the “Griddler”. I covered them with some onion slices and Greek spices! To wash it down I made a huge pot of coffee and added some vanilla almond milk for flavoring.

I spent quite a bit of time rewording Chapter #1 of my new novel, making it more believable, and adjusting the words so that the audio sounded nicer during playback. This first chapter is pretty well background information about Kirk. It’s in chapter #2 that he starts to implement the teachings of the Law of Attraction, so here is where I will be using snippets from Timothy Schultz and other YouTube videos.
