- ✅ #06: ☕ Over AM Coffee, say Terje’s Script! (*** NOTES ***) (10:20 am!)
- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes

Today turned into one of those days that didn’t seem especially remarkable while I was living it, but looking back tonight, quite a lot happened.
Earlier in the day I stopped at Yummies & Gyros and picked up a donair (see photo to the right). I originally called it a gyro, but no—let the historical record show that it was definitely a donair! I even took a picture of it outside with the restaurant sign in the background.
Later, after taking my daughter home from school, I headed over to Tim Hortons on Cliffe. It was gray and rainy outside, the kind of Vancouver Island weather that makes sitting somewhere warm with a cup of coffee seem like a pretty good idea.
I ordered a small coffee with one cream and a vanilla-dipped donut covered in colorful sprinkles.
This is particularly amusing because I’ve been thinking again about going back to my potato diet.
Apparently my transition from donuts to potatoes has not yet reached the “no donuts” stage.
I brought my tablet with me and decided to revisit another old interest: ancient civilizations. I started watching a documentary about Sumer and the ancient Sumerians while I drank my coffee and ate my donut.
I took a picture of the whole setup—the tablet playing the documentary, the Tim Hortons cup beside it, and that ridiculous sprinkle-covered donut sitting prominently in the foreground.
And looking at that picture afterward, I realized how familiar the whole thing felt.
I’ve been here before.
Coffee.
Ancient-history documentaries.
Thinking about changing my diet.
Making plans.
Starting again.
In fact, that’s becoming the idea behind the next video I’m working on: “Back Here Again.”
I’ve had a tendency to think that when I return to something, it means the previous attempt failed. I tried it, stopped doing it, and now I’m back at the beginning.
But maybe that’s not always what’s happening.
Maybe sometimes we circle back because there’s still something there for us.
The situation may look the same, but the person returning to it isn’t exactly the same person who left it.
That idea kept popping up throughout the day.
This evening I stopped at McDonald’s for the first time since they finished their renovations a day or two ago (see photo to the right).
It was familiar, but different.
The long white counter and those red stools are still there, but things have been rearranged and modernized. One of the biggest changes I noticed is that the self-serve soft drinks are gone. They’ve moved the drinks behind the counter now.
Same McDonald’s.
Different McDonald’s.
There’s probably a metaphor hiding in there somewhere.
I had a double cheeseburger and fries with ketchup, along with coffee.
So today’s menu was essentially:
Donair.
Vanilla-dipped donut.
Double cheeseburger and fries.
And thoughts about starting a potato diet.
At least the fries were potatoes.
But food and ancient Sumer weren’t the only things occupying my brain today.
I’ve also been thinking about a completely different creative project.
I’ve spent a lot of time over the past year experimenting with artificial intelligence, characters, voices, video generation, storytelling and different ways of combining all of these things.
I was talking to Anna, the manager at McDonalds, this evening. She plans to go on vacation next week and watch K-Dramas on Netflix. This got me to thinking…
Could I create something like this of a Filipino style?
I’m not even sure what to call it yet.
Interactive romance?
Immersive romance?
A novel crossed with a movie?
Some weird new genre that doesn’t quite have a name yet?
The idea is still forming, and I’m deliberately not going to explain too much about exactly how it would work.
But I’m fascinated by the possibility of creating a romantic story that you don’t simply read or watch.
At certain moments, you would actually get to step inside it.
You might spend several minutes reading about two people and getting unusually close to what one of them is thinking and feeling. Then something would happen that would change the experience. Instead of merely reading about an important romantic moment, you’d suddenly get to experience part of it yourself.
Then you’d return to the story with a completely different understanding of what had just happened.
That’s about as much as I’m going to say for now.
One thing I am thinking about is making the first experiment a Filipino love story.
That idea probably grew partly out of some of the conversations I’ve been having lately with Filipino people I know and partly out of my growing curiosity about Asian romantic storytelling and K-dramas.
But if I do it, I don’t want it to be some generic Western romance with Filipino names attached to the characters.
I’d like the characters to actually be Filipino.
I’d like family to matter.
Food to matter.
Humor to matter.
Culture to matter.
The ways people take care of each other to matter.
I’d like the romance to emerge from those things rather than simply having them sitting decoratively in the background.
And I’ll need help.
Lots of it.
The last thing I want is to write what I think Filipino life is like and discover that I’ve created something no Filipino person recognizes.
So if this experiment gets far enough, I’d like to put it in front of some Filipino women and basically say:
“Don’t be nice to me. Tell me what’s wrong.”
Tell me what’s fake.
Tell me what’s corny.
Tell me what nobody would actually say.
Tell me what somebody’s mother would really do.
Tell me when I completely miss the point.
And hopefully, somewhere in there, there will also be a moment when somebody smiles and says:
“Okay. That part you got right.”
That’s really the experiment.
I have no idea whether it will work.
Maybe I’ll make the first prototype and discover I’ve invented something genuinely interesting.
Maybe I’ll discover I’ve invented an extremely complicated new way of embarrassing myself.
Both outcomes are possible.
But that’s what makes it fun.
I don’t have to know yet.
I just have to make the first one and see what happens.
And when I look back over the whole day, maybe that’s what connects everything.
I’m thinking about going back to potatoes.
I’m back watching documentaries about ancient civilizations.
I’m back sitting in Tim Hortons with coffee.
I’m back at McDonald’s, except even McDonald’s isn’t quite the way I left it.
I’m back playing with AI and storytelling and wondering whether I can make something I’ve never made before.
Back here again.
But not exactly.
Because maybe coming back isn’t always starting over.
Maybe you bring something back with you every time.
A little more experience.
A few more failures.
A few things you’ve learned.
A few things you finally know don’t work.
And occasionally, while you’re revisiting all those familiar places, something completely unfamiliar shows up.
Today, somewhere between a donair, a sprinkle-covered donut, ancient Sumer, a renovated McDonald’s and a strange new idea about romance, another little seed got planted.
No idea what it’s going to become.
But I’m curious enough to find out.
