- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.

📋Additional Daily Notes
At 11:14 a.m., I found myself reflecting. As I sat there thinking, I found myself asking bigger questions. How does all of this work? How do you know when you’re on the right path? How do you follow your bliss, as Bashar says, or trust the flow of life, as Esther Hicks often teaches, without simply drifting aimlessly? I didn’t come away with any grand answers, but I did ask for a little wink from the Universe—a toonie perhaps—as a sign that I was headed in roughly the right direction.
The funny thing is that the Universe didn’t send me a toonie.
Instead, it sent me salsa.
Not literally, of course.
What started as a routine shopping trip turned into one of the most unexpectedly entertaining projects of the day.
As I’ve been working on Version 1.04 of the AI Diet, one of the core principles I’ve adopted is:
Never modify success until you can reproduce success.
The original AI Diet worked. Between May 21 and August 9, 2025, I lost 50.3 pounds in 80 days. Before making improvements, adding new foods, or experimenting with different approaches, I want to prove that I can recreate that success.
That means looking carefully at every variable.
One of those variables is salsa.
Back during the original AI Diet, one of my favorite condiments was the Kirkland Organic Salsa from Costco. It was simple, low calorie, tasty, and paired perfectly with potatoes, vegetables, and wraps. Unfortunately, Costco no longer carries it, which created a surprisingly important question:
What is the closest possible replacement?
Most people would probably grab a random jar and move on with their day.
Apparently, I am not most people.
Before long, I found myself standing in the salsa aisle photographing labels, comparing ingredients, analyzing nutrition panels, and debating the relative merits of half a dozen different brands. I examined Herdez, Que Pasa, Cholula, Old El Paso, Compliments Organic, Compliments Chunky, and several others.
Calories were compared.
Ingredient lists were scrutinized.
Organic certifications were considered.
Texture, flavor profile, sodium content, and price were all carefully evaluated.
At one point I realized I had spent more time researching salsa than many people spend researching a used car.
The deeper I dug, the more interesting the project became. What initially seemed trivial was actually connected to something much larger. If the purpose of the 30-day test is to reproduce the original AI Diet as closely as possible, then even small details matter.
By the end of the investigation, two clear finalists emerged.

The first was the Compliments Organic Medium Salsa. It is organic, contains many of the same ingredients as the Kirkland version, has the same calorie count, and shares a similar mild flavor profile. While it may be slightly smoother and perhaps not quite as fresh tasting, it appears to be the closest overall match.
The second was the Herdez Salsa Mexicana Mild. It offers excellent ingredients, similar nutrition, and a very attractive price. Its flavor profile leans more toward authentic Mexican salsa than the Costco version, but it remains an excellent option.
For the purposes of the experiment, however, the Compliments Organic Medium Salsa (see photo to the right) appears to be the winner.
Mission accomplished.
At least until the next grocery store adventure.
The rest of the day was spent continuing work on the AI Diet guide. Chapter 1, “My Story,” has begun taking shape, and for the first time the book is starting to feel like an actual book rather than a collection of notes and ideas. The structure is becoming clearer. The message is becoming clearer. Most importantly, the central lesson is becoming clearer:
Success leaves clues. Follow the clues.
That idea seems to be showing up everywhere lately.
In weight loss.
In investing.
In relationships.
In manifestation.
And apparently, even in salsa.
As evening arrived, I couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of it all. Earlier in the day I was asking the Universe for direction and clarity. A few hours later I was standing in a grocery store comparing ingredient labels on jars of salsa.
Life is funny that way.
Sometimes the big answers don’t arrive all at once.
Sometimes they arrive disguised as ordinary moments, small investigations, and tiny decisions made one after another.
No toonie today.
But maybe the wink was there after all.
