- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes

The morning, at 10 am, I met Wes at Milano Coffee in Courtenay through the Coffee Club program. I got there first so I got a seat at the table near the back (see photo to the right). Whenever you sit down with someone you’ve never met before, there’s always a bit of uncertainty. Will the conversation flow? Will you have anything in common? Will it be an hour of polite small talk or something more meaningful?
As it turned out, we had plenty to talk about.
One hour became two. Two became three. Before I knew it, more than four hours had passed.
Wes is deeply interested in the Law of Attraction, manifestation, and many of the same subjects that have fascinated me for years. We traded stories, discussed different teachers and philosophies, and talked about some of the unusual experiences and ideas that seem to attract people who travel down these paths. He shared websites, videos, articles, and other resources for me to explore. It will probably take me weeks to go through everything he recommended.
One of the stranger topics that came up was the Miami mall incident from January 2024. Wes mentioned the stories that circulated online about aliens, portals, and mysterious beings supposedly appearing at the mall. Naturally, that sent me down a research rabbit hole later in the day. Whether you believe any of it or not, it’s certainly one of those stories that captures people’s imagination.
What I enjoyed most wasn’t any particular topic, though. It was simply meeting someone new who is curious about life. Someone willing to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and explore possibilities. Those kinds of conversations seem harder to find these days, and I left feeling grateful that the Coffee Club had brought our paths together.
The funny thing is that I had planned to stop at Slegg Building Materials afterward. The screw I bought for my cabinet knobs recently isn’t quite long enough, and I wanted to find a slightly longer version. But by the time Wes and I finished talking, most of the day had slipped away. Sometimes life has other plans.
This evening I treated myself to a Subway Sweet Onion Teriyaki footlong combo. Later, I stopped by McDonald’s and picked up one of their $5 McValue meals along with a caramel sundae and a medium coffee. Not exactly health-food cuisine, but it was part of today’s adventure.
As for manifestations, there were no coins today. No quarters. No dimes. No toonies. Nothing waiting on the sidewalk or hiding in a parking lot.
Still, Wes and I spent some time talking about that very subject. If I wanted to find a toonie, he said, the key wasn’t constantly searching for one. It was generating the feeling of already having received it. In many ways, it echoed what Esther Hicks, Neville Goddard, and others have taught for years: the feeling is the thing.
It’s interesting because most of us already know what we’re supposed to do. The challenge isn’t learning another technique. The challenge is consistently applying what we already know.
The Coffee Club has already paid dividends.
We’ll meet again.
And who knows where the conversation will lead next.
