2025-03-24 - All Canadian Special

I went to A&W this morning for their “All Canadian Special” breakfast plate (see photo to the left). It was really good. The lady even asked me if I wanted peanut butter and jam and ketchup. I ate it in the parking lot just outside “The General” convenience store. Well worth it! I listened to the audible version of “Busting Loose From The Money Game” while I munched away…

This afternoon I got the chance to finally go to Chance’s Playtime and the Match Eatery & Public House down the road. They took my id, but they didn’t require a membership fee or anything. Most of the “Chance” area is made up with row upon row of slot machines. They do have a little bar, with some food, but I went over to the Match Eatery for my main meal.

I had the fish & chips (which was the special for today), and a fish taco as well since it was so highly recommended by the waiter. For dessert I had their “Sticky Toffee Pudding”, Katie Middleton’s favorite, and it was delish! I read a bit of “Busting Loose From The Money Game” (see photo to the right), but I couldn’t stop watching videos about today’s latest breaking news event, how a journalist was added to a social media app where they gave real time information on the bombing of the Houthi’s in Yemen. Shocking!

This evening I couldn’t get our cat to take his “Blue Pill” antibiotic, and I was having problems getting up and down off the bed, and then there was the diarrhea issue and other personal problems… I was so frustrated that for the first time since I was probably a kid I felt like crying I was so unhappy with my life. Maybe this is the “Requirement” to really commit to “Busting Loose From The Money Game”… There must be a better way…

Two interesting things happened today that reminded me of “Busting Loose From The Money Game” saying that things will appear in your life that don’t seem real, or just weird. They were:

  • I could not find Batman when I went into Katie’s room this morning. I looked and looked and was at the point where I thought somebody came into the house in the middle of the night and took him. Then I found him, hiding under the bookcase. In “Busting Loose From The Money” game there is a passage that talks about trying to find an exit on a highway and going back and forth time and time and it not appearing, and then it appearing…
  • I was on Katie’s bed this evening reading a bit of “Busting Loose From The Money Game” and went to the bathroom. When I came back Batman had diarrhea all over the floor. He couldn’t have made this mess in the short time I was gone, yet I checked my socks and no residue… Was it there when I left the room? If so, how come I didn’t step in it?
