Daily Notes

2025-03-19 - Burrito

I stayed home all day today and updated this blog with the notes I took during my time in Victoria last week. It was rainy outside, and I’m still tired and recovering from my pneumonia, so I didn’t feel like venturing out anyway.

I’ve been making burrito’s from the wraps I picked up at Good’s Grocery Store the other day. I put them into the air fryer on low for 6 minutes to give it that little bit of “crunch” (see photo to the right).

I watched the BBC Show “Planet Earth” Episode #1: “Pole to Pole” today! A lot of “death” from time-to-time so this might not be a good series to keep me “aligned”… As such, I’ll watch it sparingly…

Later this evening I asked Copilot to give me a comparison between Maggie Murphy the “Neville Goddess”, “Busting Loose From The Money Game”, and Wallace Wattles… Here’s the conversation:

Are you familiar with “Busting Loose From The Money Game”?

Yes, “Busting Loose From The Money Game” is a book by Robert Scheinfeld. It explores an unconventional approach to money, abundance, and life. Scheinfeld challenges traditional beliefs about financial success and introduces what he calls “The Phase 2 Process,” which shifts focus from external achievements to inner transformation. The book is designed to encourage readers to see their financial and personal lives from a completely new perspective.

Here’s a high-level overview of Busting Loose From The Money Game:

Challenge to Traditional Beliefs: The book starts by questioning widely accepted notions about money, success, and happiness. Scheinfeld encourages readers to see these as illusions, or “The Money Game.”

Phase 1 vs. Phase 2: Scheinfeld introduces two phases of life. Phase 1 focuses on external achievements, like earning money and chasing success. Phase 2 shifts to inner transformation, emphasizing that everything we experience is created from within.

The Phase 2 Process: A core concept in the book, this process is designed to dismantle beliefs about limitations, scarcity, and struggle. Scheinfeld explains how to reclaim what he calls “power,” or the ability to consciously create your experience.

The Sphere of Infinite Possibilities: Scheinfeld uses this metaphor to describe the limitless potential for abundance and joy that exists when we free ourselves from “The Money Game.”

Exercises and Practices: The book provides tools for breaking free from limiting beliefs and shifting to Phase 2, including thought experiments, journaling, and practical steps to transform your perception of reality.

According to Busting Loose From The Money Game, the purpose of life is deeply tied to the concept of reclaiming your “power” and breaking free from the illusions of limitation, scarcity, and struggle. The book suggests that life is a game where the ultimate objective is not external achievements but recognizing and embracing your ability to create your own reality. This perspective encourages a shift away from traditional pursuits of success and wealth to a focus on self-discovery, inner joy, and tapping into infinite possibilities.

Scheinfeld emphasizes that life is about experiencing, exploring, and expanding consciousness while reclaiming your true nature as a limitless creator. Through this, one can find freedom, fulfillment, and abundance beyond conventional definitions.

If you “Busted Loose” according to Robert Scheinfeld’s ideas, your day would likely feel fundamentally different—not because of external changes, but because of your inner perspective. Here’s how it might unfold:

Waking Up with Freedom: You’d begin the day with a deep sense of freedom and ease. Instead of stress about to-do lists or financial pressures, you’d feel excitement and curiosity about what the day might bring.

Living in the Moment: Throughout the day, you’d approach experiences with playfulness and gratitude. Whether at work, running errands, or relaxing, you’d see life as a game, with everything being an opportunity for joy and learning.

No Fear of Limits: You wouldn’t feel constrained by concepts of scarcity or struggle. Instead of worrying about money or resources, you’d trust that everything you need will flow to you in the perfect way and at the perfect time.

Aligned Actions: Decisions and actions would feel effortless, guided by an intuitive sense of what’s right for you, rather than external pressures or expectations.

Inner Connection: You’d spend time reflecting, appreciating, or meditating on the idea of being a creator of your reality. You’d see events, challenges, and successes as part of a process you’re co-creating, leading to personal growth and joy.

Unexpected Magic: You might notice unexpected “gifts” or opportunities show up in your life, as you’d have a mindset of openness and trust in the unfolding of events.

Ending with Gratitude: As your day wraps up, you’d likely feel immense gratitude—not just for the things that went “right,” but for the entire experience of the day, knowing you’re playing your unique role in the infinite possibilities of life.

Key Principles in Alignment

Creation vs. Competition: Wattles stresses wealth creation as a spiritual act of working with the infinite, not through competition or struggle. This aligns with Busting Loose’s view of abundance as part of infinite possibilities, where scarcity is an illusion. Similarly, Neville Goddard emphasizes imagining the end result and assuming the feeling of abundance without struggle or resistance.

The Power of Thought and Imagination: All three frameworks agree that reality originates in the mind. Wattles insists that “thinking in a Certain Way” manifests wealth. Goddard’s teachings about “living in the end” and Neville Goddess’ practical focus on manifestation via visualization perfectly reflect this idea. Scheinfeld, though not as focused on visualization, explains that beliefs and inner focus shape external experiences.

Releasing Struggle: Wattles encourages working with faith, gratitude, and clear mental images rather than striving or worrying. This parallels Busting Loose’s philosophy of breaking free from struggle and trusting in the flow of abundance. Neville Goddard also discourages attachment to the “how,” reinforcing trust that the desire is already fulfilled.

Distinctions to Mesh Together: Wallace Wattles’ Focus on Clear Vision: Wattles emphasizes creating a mental image of what you want and sustaining it with unwavering faith. You could combine this with Neville Goddard’s “law of assumption,” where you feel as though that mental image is already a reality.

Scheinfeld’s Holistic Perspective: Unlike Wattles or Goddard, Scheinfeld doesn’t focus on specific material goals (like wealth) but on shifting your perspective to reclaim power. You could complement Wattles’ “thinking in a Certain Way” with Scheinfeld’s exercises to break down limiting beliefs about money and focus on abundance as part of inner freedom.

Practicality via Neville Goddess: Neville Goddess often shares actionable methods for applying Goddard’s teachings, which could be integrated with Wattles’ emphasis on gratitude and action. For example, after visualizing $10,000,000 (a Wattles-inspired step), you could use Goddard’s “mental diet” to avoid thinking thoughts of lack, supported by Scheinfeld’s encouragement to see money as part of your creative play.

How It All Comes Together: To mesh these ideas, here’s a potential approach:

Visualization (Wattles + Goddard): Form a clear mental image of having $10,000,000 and assume the feeling of already having it. Visualize your ideal life vividly, focusing on the gratitude and joy you’d experience.

Dismantle Beliefs (Scheinfeld): Explore and challenge any limiting beliefs about money being scarce or hard to achieve. Use Busting Loose’s exercises to reclaim your inner power and view the $10,000,000 as a natural and effortless part of your experience.

Daily Practice (Neville Goddess + Wattles): Maintain a mental diet, staying consistent with thoughts and feelings of abundance. Combine this with gratitude for what you already have and the faith that your desire is unfolding.

Detach from Outcomes (Scheinfeld + Goddard): Trust in the process and let go of needing to know how the $10,000,000 will arrive. Stay focused on the joy of the journey, treating life as a creative, playful game.
