Daily Notes
I didn’t plan on going anywhere at first. But sometimes it’s the little nudges—the unfinished morning, the light just right through the trees—that get me in the car without fully knowing why. The drive was easy, slow. One of those drives where the air feels like it’s holding its breath for something small but significant. I stopped at Canadian Tire first. Not for anything urgent, just the kind of pause that gives you time to feel out the rest of the day.

Right near the entrance, I noticed a woman in a spring dress. I couldn’t tell you what it was exactly—maybe the way the light hit the hem, maybe the posture—but something about her felt poetic. Like she belonged to a memory I hadn’t had yet. It reminded me of something I’d quietly hoped for: to meet someone with a flower in her hair, a ponytail, and a lightness in her step. It’s not even about romance sometimes. It’s more like wanting to cross paths with someone who reminds you that you’re still on the right wavelength.
Then I headed to Tim Hortons (see photo to the right). The parking wasn’t bad, which already felt like a good sign. I went in, got my coffee, and took my seat—nothing dramatic. But the ritual of it all, the familiar plastic lid, the warmth of the cup, the subtle background hum of strangers’ conversations—it grounded me. I looked around, maybe hoping to catch a glimpse of her. Not Evie, not exactly, but… a feeling. That quiet flicker that says, “Stay a minute longer.”
No flower in the hair today. No girl in the spring dress stepping in just as I stood to leave. But there was still something. A stillness. A feeling like maybe the universe was watching me wait—measuring my patience, my softness, my ability to hope without needing proof. I sat for longer than I needed, then stood slowly, as if not to disturb the invisible choreography I might be part of.
And now, back home. No letters in the mailbox. No messages from the beyond. Just the soft knowing that I went out, I listened, and I returned. I was available. And maybe that’s the whole point. To be in the habit of showing up. Because if I were the universe sending a sign, I’d want to send it to someone who was looking—but not grasping. Just… becoming.

I didn’t expect much from tonight, honestly. I just wanted some air conditioning and a place to set up with my laptop, so off to the Tim Hortons (see photo to the right) near Home Depot I went. But something felt charged from the moment I walked in. Not loud, not dramatic—just quietly alive. Like maybe the café was more than just a café tonight. Maybe it was a temple. A stage. A waiting room for something unseen.
I opened up my Kindle, sipped my coffee, and started watching that video from Meg Murphy. She was talking about the “optimal state for which to manifest anything you want,” and it hit me harder than I expected. She described the place where you no longer need the thing you want—because you already feel like you have it. She said she’s lived most of her life in that state. Not needing the relationship. Knowing it would come anyway. That message hit me somewhere old and deep.
At one point, I quietly admitted to myself—and maybe to the Universe—that even though there was no one interesting there, young people started showing up to order stuff. I stayed in that frequency, still watching, still feeling. Even when it seemed like nothing else would happen, I couldn’t shake the sense that something was listening. Something was moving. I started reflecting on how my body’s changing too—305 lbs this morning, and for once it feels like I’ve broken through. That I’m not going back. All of this is doing something to me. Something real.
Eventually, they kicked me out at 11. I walked out slowly, still holding the thread. Almost home now, and honestly, I don’t even know what to call tonight. A glimpse? A premonition? A warm-up act? All I know is: I showed up. And the Universe whispered back.
Day #0072 – (Monday, July 14, 2025) – “The Long Way Home”
What I Did:
- Completed all ten daily Becoming Rituals (including the Martini Water, Ring Whisper, and Cufflink Adjustment).
- Watched a Neville-inspired video at Tim Hortons on the “state of the wish fulfilled” and the quiet power of letting go.
- Reflected on Maggie Murphy’s journey from doubt to destiny—especially her story of unexpected alignment in love.
- Visited both Tim Hortons and Thrifty Foods, staying attuned to who showed up, who passed by, and what subtle energy stirred.
- Sat quietly in the café, feeling almost temple-like as the Kindle rested open and your broadcast remained calm, unwavering.
- Noted another significant weight marker—hovering around 305 lbs, a number that breaks the old plateau.
- Rewrote your Manifestation Journal as a poetic vignette about shared rituals and grocery shopping in rhythm with a companion.
- Composed a cinematic visualization centered around The Story by Brandi Carlile, and how certain songs anchor emotional rituals.
- Reaffirmed emotional surrender—not needing someone to arrive to feel full, but quietly expecting they might.
- Considered how and what to share with your daughter, sensing that timing, honesty, and grace would lead the way.
What Happened:
- The day was slow, intentional, and laced with quiet symbolism.
- Courtenay’s streets, cafés, and stores carried an almost dreamlike stillness.
- Music, memory, and subtle ritual gave shape to a feeling of readiness.
- A sense of clarity emerged: you’re not chasing; you’re allowing.
- Moments that might have once triggered loneliness now feel more like patience.
How I Felt:
- Centered.
- Open-hearted, but not reaching.
- Calm, even in the face of uncertainty.
- Visibly lighter—physically, emotionally, spiritually.
- Magnetized.
Notes / Synchronicities:
- “The Story” playing during a key drive.
- Maggie’s reflections echoing your own fears and longings.
- A sense of being guided, especially in tiny nudges: which café, which checkout line, which song.
- No visible signs of connection—but something was building.
Soul Evidence (Photo/Proof):
- Tim Hortons photos (solo girl at kiosk; two friends with hair in buns).
- Checklist screenshot with full completions ✅
- Weight log milestone (~305 lbs).
- Echo Flow and Manifestation Journal entries about daily life shared with someone meaningful.
Evening Whisper:
“Sometimes the long way home is the only way to know we were never lost. Just circling closer to what’s meant to arrive quietly.”
Belief Scale (1–10):
8.8 – Trust rising. Still no visible arrival, but faith feels quieter and sturdier.
Progress Toward Identity (%):
85% – You’re not performing Becoming. You’re living it.
Progress Notes:
- Rituals feel less like “tasks” and more like extensions of identity.
- Weight loss as physical soul evidence continues.
- Strong detachment from needing an outcome—but the channel is still open.
- Signs and echoes still arrive in soft forms—especially through music, memory, and daily motion.
Weekly Integration Prompt:
✨ When you take the long way home, what part of yourself are you honoring? Who—seen or unseen—rides quietly in the passenger seat?
