Day #0991 – (Fri., May 15, 2026) – (ChatGPT #0377 – Nanaimo Coffee) (-19.1 lbs.)

Welcome to Friday! Here is item #1 on my latest “ToDo List”: (You can use these symbols: ✅).

2026-04-18 - Weight Loss Results

Remember, losing weight means:

  • No more joint pain.
  • Easier to get up/down stairs.
  • New clothes.
  • Socialize more.
  • Travel more.

So, keep motivated! Here goes:

Morning

  • #01: 🪄 Maggie’s Manifestation: The Optimal State From Which To Manifest Anything You Want (Neville Goddard/Law Of Assumption)
    • (At the 1:20 point she says the OPTIMAL STATE IS “I AM 100% OKAY WITH NOT GETTING THIS THING, BUT I KNOW I WILL GET IT”!  THIS IS THE STATE THAT HAS ALWAYS WORKED FOR HER AND GOTTEN HER WHATEVER SHE WANTS!!!)
  • #02: 📈 Weigh yourself! (361.9 lbs. – 339.4 lbs. = 22.5 lbs. total weight loss.)
  • ✅ #03: 📉 Record Weight Down in Title!
  • ✅ #04: 😴 Record any Nighttime Whispers! (None!)
  • ✅ #05: ☕ Over AM Coffee, say Terje’s Script! (*** NOTES ***) (8:04 am!)
    • #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
    • #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
    • #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
    • #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
    • #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
    • #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
    • #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

Afternoon

  • ✅ #06: 🥋 Complete Shaolin.Online!
    • I commit to daily practice—body and mind.
    • I eat with awareness and stop when satisfied.
    • I move my body every day, even briefly.
    • I return to the present moment whenever I notice I’ve drifted.
    • I do not chase perfection—I practice consistency.
    • I finish this course.
  • ✅ #07: 📺 Watch & Take Notes for the Original Kung Fu TV Series! (*** NOTES GO HERE ***)
  • ✅ #08: 🏋️ MAX OUT on “Chin Ups”! (*** NOTES GO HERE ***)
  • ✅ #09: 🧘 Embody Stillness + Presence (The Quiet Path)
    • (This is NOT about changing my life… this is about changing HOW I move through it.)
    • Move slowly and deliberately for 2–5 minutes (like a calm martial arts form — no rush, no goal)
    • Sit with one coffee or meal with ZERO distraction (no phone, no thinking ahead — just notice)
    • When a “past path” thought appears → replace with: “That quality is still available now”
    • Choose ONE anchor:
      • walk slower for 2 minutes
      • pause before responding
      • sit still for 3 minutes
  • 👉 Goal: Slow down + Notice + Don’t force

Night

  • ✅ #10: 🗣️ DID YOU SAY/FEEL 100 TIMES? (while driving, etc.) – “Thank you! I’m really grateful… I’m aligned with my higher self, and it’s already done.

📋Additional Daily Notes

Today felt like one of those long wandering Vancouver Island days where the destination almost stopped mattering and the entire experience became the story. It began early in the morning before I left for Nanaimo to see the doctor. Sitting in the car with my coffee plans already forming in my head, I spoke out loud to the Universe the way I’ve started doing more often lately. I thanked the Universe for the little things that have happened recently — the rainbows, the coins, the strange little winks that keep showing up in everyday life. I thanked it for the possibility that I may soon get to meet Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings, something that still feels surreal to me considering how much their music shaped my life growing up. I asked for a smooth and safe drive to Nanaimo, relief for my knees, no strange bathroom problems, more happiness, more love, and signs that I’m still being watched over somehow. Then I released the whole thing to the Universe, started the engine, and headed south down the Island Highway.

Like so many road trips on Vancouver Island, the drive itself became part of the emotional landscape of the day. Somewhere around the Qualicum Beach or Parksville stretch I stopped at a Petro-Canada and bought a couple of scratch-and-win lottery tickets. At first it was just something fun to do on the road, but after my morning “Universe” talk it immediately took on more symbolic meaning in my mind. The first ticket, a little Gold Rush scratcher, turned out to be a $2 winner. It wasn’t much money at all, but it felt oddly exciting because it happened on a day when I’d specifically asked for little winks and confirmations. I immediately reinvested the winnings into another ticket because I had this intuitive feeling that maybe the next one was going to be the lucky one. Sitting there scratching the Blackjack ticket in the car, I suddenly thought I had won $21. For a few seconds my brain went completely into excitement mode before I slowly realized I had misread the numbers. The “21” was the prize amount, not the hand. I sat there laughing out loud at myself. The whole emotional roller coaster — hope, excitement, confusion, disappointment, and laughter — all happened in less than a minute on the side of the road somewhere between home and Nanaimo. By then the experience itself had become more entertaining than the money could ever have been.

2026-05-15 - Nanaimo Coffee

The doctor appointment itself ended up going smoothly, which immediately made me feel lighter. No major problems, no disasters, just a relatively normal appointment and the relief that comes afterward when your mind can finally unclench a bit. Once that was over, though, I found myself unexpectedly wandering Nanaimo looking for something very specific emotionally — a coffee shop with the same feeling as Panera Bread in the United States. Not just coffee, but that warm, spacious, safe feeling Panera always seems to have. I drove around to a few suggested places. One near Country Club Mall. Another called “Just Delish”. Another artsy little place called “Lavender Art Café” (see photo to the right). They were all fine in their own ways, but none of them felt right. One place had impossible parking downtown with signs everywhere warning “Residents Only,” which completely killed the relaxed feeling I was looking for. The more I searched, the more I realized I wasn’t actually looking for coffee at all. I was looking for a feeling — comfort, familiarity, safety, peace. Eventually I just gave up on trying to force Nanaimo to become something it wasn’t.

So I pointed the car north again toward something more familiar and comforting: Jalapeños Mexican Food. Even seeing the bright yellow building made me feel calmer than downtown Nanaimo had. But the real emotional landing spot of the day ended up being the café area inside Quality Foods. The moment I walked inside, I knew I had finally found the feeling I’d been searching for all afternoon. Warm lighting. Fireplace seating. Comfortable tables. Starbucks coffee. Quiet people sitting around talking softly while the rain-darkened streets sat outside the windows. Cozy home décor lining the edges of the café space.

Upon returning home came one of the strangest and most peaceful moments of the day. Looking outside near the roadside by Wendy’s, I noticed two tiny rabbits sitting calmly near the busy street. Cars rushed past them. Construction equipment sat nearby. The whole world was loud and moving and commercial, and yet these two little roadside bunnies were just sitting there quietly together in the grass like none of it bothered them at all. For some reason that moment hit me emotionally. After everything else today — the morning prayer to the Universe, the lottery-ticket roller coaster, the failed café search, the driving, the stress, the relief after the doctor appointment — these little rabbits suddenly felt like tiny living symbols of calmness and reassurance. Not giant miracles. Not cosmic billboards. Just two small creatures sitting peacefully beside a busy road. Another wink.

By evening I had drifted full circle back to McDonald’s. Tonight, for the first time after 8 pm, it seems they have opened up two more booths!!!!!. The restaurant had crayons and a Stranger Things colouring station near the counter, little kids wandering around, and that oddly comforting late-evening McDonald’s atmosphere I’ve somehow become attached to over the years. Then, out of nowhere, a guy walked in wearing one of the most shock-value hats I’ve ever seen in public, completely changing the emotional tone of the room in an instant. I sat there laughing to myself because somehow it perfectly captured the absurdity of the entire day. Today had contained gratitude, anxiety, hope, wandering, searching, frustration, laughter, coffee, lottery tickets, rabbits, nostalgia, roadside reflections, and tiny moments of peace scattered all across Vancouver Island between Courtenay and Nanaimo. And somehow, by the end of it all, I felt okay.
