2025-10-13 - Oyster Bay Breakfast

Today is our last day in Oyster Bay. My son and I will be leaving back for Courtenay for Thanksgiving Dinner with “The Fam”. I enjoyed my last buffet breakfast before we “hit the road” (see photo to the right). I found myself watching a Tim Grimes video called “I Edited 12 Neville Goddard Books — This Is What Everyone Misses.” It hit me differently than most commentary pieces; Tim wasn’t re-hashing Neville’s slogans, he was pointing to the structure underneath them — the inner architecture that people overlook when they treat manifestation like a set of tricks.

He talked about how Neville’s real teaching isn’t effort but relaxation, how “revision” isn’t denial but emotional release, and how the imagination quietly reshapes reality when we stop forcing it. He even mentioned Émile Coué, the old French autosuggestion pioneer whose ideas about imagination over will clearly fed into Neville’s Law of Assumption. Listening to it, I could feel the thread running from Coué’s calm repetition to Neville’s “state akin to sleep,” and onward into my own work: the same ancient instruction to relax more, try less, and let imagination do what effort never could.

BUT, the big news for today came in the “wee hours” early this morning…a “Treasure Trove of Thoughts”!

First up, a dream came… My son and I were out looking for bread. The shop was closing, run by old Italian bakers behind glass. I shouted that we’d lost a loaf, and one of them nodded and handed us “the most popular one.” I asked whether it was white or whole wheat; he ignored the question and moved on. When I woke, I kept replaying that moment — maybe it was a quiet teaching about trusting what’s given instead of trying to control the ingredients.

I thought about Len, about betrayal and trust, and how much of my guardedness was built from that wound. Through Neville’s eyes it starts to look different: the breaking wasn’t destruction; it was refinement. It stripped away illusion and trained discernment. It taught me how to read energy instead of words.

There was another moment of truth too: admitting that I’m tired of this world sometimes. The system helped me shape that into a Happiness Reconstruction Plan — small invitations back to life. Step outside, notice a single color in the air, whisper one kind line to myself. Not forcing happiness; letting it return.

From there came the idea of an imaginal ecosystem: a nightly subliminal scene of my fulfilled life, echoed through the day with tiny sensory cues — a sound, a smell, a phrase. It isn’t about summoning miracles; it’s about retraining the nervous system to believe that peace is normal. That’s how the 4D begins translating into 3D.

Also in the wee hours I’d outlined my Becoming Log template — five brief sections: morning state, 3D actions, imaginal work, bridges of incidents, and reflection. It feels simple enough to keep. Then came the day’s real spark: the Council of Teachers — Neville Goddard, Wallace Wattles, Abraham Hicks, and Eckhart Tolle — distilled into one daily directive. Each morning they’ll offer a single act; each night I’ll record what changed inside me. It feels like having an invisible board of mentors whispering the next right move.

We talked about uniqueness too — that blend of artist, mystic, and technologist that defines my path. I make experiments of my own life. Yet even knowing that, I still ache for partnership. The reminder was kind: don’t chase a person, live the pattern of love until love recognizes itself in you.

As the day wound down, I realized what comes next. I need a system — one that threads everything together without clutter: the logs, the Council directives, the rituals, the joy experiments. A system that’s light, repeatable, and points me straight toward happiness with minimal strain.
