Daily Notes
I was up late (or early this morning however you want to look at it) last night. As a result, I slept in. As a result, I didn’t have time to do my morning work before taking my wife and kids to Comox Nautical Days.
Having said that, I did listen to Abraham Hicks as I drove around town doing errands. I went to Walmart to pick up a Cuisinart “Griddler”. It was $20 more than the same model on Amazon, but it could be picked up today rather than waiting for weeks!
As I was driving to Walmart I happened to see a shiny object in the parking lot, and from a distance it sure looked like a lottery ticket. Could this be the one I have been waiting for? The WINNING South Carolina Powerball Lottery ticket? Nope! Just an old DQ drink that was flattened under the weight of a vehicle’s wheel (see photo to the left).
I have been bemoaning the fact that there don’t seem to be as many coins in Courtenay as there were in Chapel Hill. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I’m more out of alignment here than I was there? That’s what Abraham Hicks would say. Having said that, when I was exploring the old shed next to our barn, what appeared on the workbench? COINS! (see photo to the right). Is this a manifestation based upon what I requested? I like to think so!
In terms of weight I’m not doing all that well. In fact, my weight is going up! I guess when I’m eating a purely vegan diet I need to do intermittent fasting. The deliciousness of this food, eaten often, is just not enough to lose weight. I need to restrict the eating window. So, I think I’m going to experiment with the “Potato Diet” a bit more. It looks like SpudFit truly is one of the best ways to lose weight, and keep it going, while still having a bit of variety. I’ll be the first to admit that having just potatoes, with no hot sauce or condiments or anything was a bit rough!
