Day #0014 (Mon., Sep. 11, 2023) – Magic Dust Everyone

Good morning! Welcome to Day #10 of “The Magic”, which is “Magic Dust Everyone”. Upon waking this morning, I quickly wrote down the 10 things that I am grateful for today, and as usual you can see them all in “My Daily Journal”.

Early this morning, halfway through the night to be more exact, I was thinking about manifesting coins, and more specifically the coin with the “KWF” into my life, and the idea of getting a metal detector popped into my head. I see that you can get a cheap handheld one on Amazon for about $25. I am not sure if getting a detector like this would be considered “doing your part”, or “gaming the system”.  How far I should go and how much I should let the Universe do is something that I think I will have to figure out as I move forward.

I also searched Google for the term “kwf coin”, and guess what popped up? A Dutch Cancer Society Medal (see photo to the right). You can clearly see the KWF on the edge. It only costs about $15 US, so would getting this be helpful in bringing the KWF coin I am visualizing into my life. In fact, is this coin what I am visualizing? Not sure right now, but something to keep in mind.

I mentioned the metal detector that I was thinking of getting to my wife and she told me that she already had one. So, I will use this and save about $25. Oddly enough, she was thinking of getting a snow cone machine and I showed her how to create “snow” via our Ninja Blender. So, we each saved money. Is this one way to manifest the $1.43 million into our lives?

The plan was to go to Panera Bread for a coffee this afternoon, but on the way, I thought I would try out the metal detector at the cemetery at Southern Village. I walked up the hill and tried to find coins at and around the park bench, but to no avail. As I was heading back to the car, I happened to look down at the ground near the stop sign and low and behold, look at what I saw (see photo to the right)! A quarter! The interesting thing is that I did not use the detector to find this. I just happened to look down at the ground and there it was!

When I eventually arrived at Panera Bread, I told the assistant manager how much I appreciated her brewing a fresh pot of coffee for me when the coffee in the canisters is cold. I am not sure if this was intentional or not, but she gave me a large cup instead of a medium cup, which is what I paid for. Not a big deal given the fact that there are free refills, but it is something I took note of.

Today’s lesson taught about sprinkling “Magic Dust” and thanking the people who perform services in your life that you may have taken for granted. It talks about creating a written list of ten instances where people in service have helped you and sending them magic dust by saying thank you to every one of them.

Here is my list:

  1. I’m really grateful to the assistant manager at Panera Bread for getting me fresh hot coffee when the coffee in the canisters is cold. I spread magic dust on you and thank you.
  1. I’m really grateful for the cleaners who keep our streets clean from garbage and debris. It is something that I have taken for granted in the past, but not from now on. I spread magic dust on you and thank you.
  1. I’m really grateful for the bus boys who clean our tables and probably don’t get tipped. It is something that I have taken for granted in the past, but not from now on. I spread magic dust on you and thank you.
  1. I’m really grateful for the people who pay it forward and provide us with a wonderful example of giving. It is something that I have taken for granted in the past, but not from now on. I spread magic dust on you and thank you.
  1. I’m really grateful for the politicians who truly want to help the people. It is something that I have taken for granted in the past, but not from now on. I spread magic dust on you and thank you.
  1. I’m really grateful for the police who put their lives at risk to keep us safe. It is something that I have taken for granted in the past, but not from now on. I spread magic dust on you and thank you.
  1. I’m really grateful for the moms and dads who sacrifice so much to raise good quality kids. They are unsung heroes in many respects. It is something that I have taken for granted in the past, but not from now on. I spread magic dust on you and thank you.
  1. I’m really grateful for the community activists who truly care about helping the people of their communities. It is something that I have taken for granted in the past, but not from now on. I spread magic dust on you and thank you.
  1. I’m really grateful for the billionaires who are giving back rather than just hoarding their money for their kids. It is something that I have taken for granted in the past, but not from now on. I spread magic dust on you and thank you.
  1. I’m really grateful for the people who have come before me and have passed down their secret of the law of attraction to me. It is something that I have taken for granted in the past, but not from now on. I spread magic dust on you and thank you.

While I was sitting at a table on the patio one of my napkins flew off the table. A person who looked a bit like a homeless man immediately got up and picked it up for me. I thanked him and told him that it is the simple things that mean so much. I thought about giving him $5 or something to show my sign of appreciation, but hesitated when I thought about the mess I got into by helping Len Furlotte out. I am going to have to learn to balance my desire to help people out and my cautiousness of getting involved in a mess as I move forward with the law of attraction and “The Magic”. Unfortunately, you cannot just give and give and expect that everything will go well. As I have learned, there is a balance. You just have to find it.

When I got home, I examined the quarter that I picked up today (see photo to the right). I scanned it up and down looking for the “KWF” but to no avail. I will put this in my list of coins and such that I have found and keep on looking. There is always tomorrow.

Also, later this evening I came across an article on “The Metal Detectorist’s Prayer”. I will try and practice this when I go out looking for coins. It definitely won’t hurt the coin getting process, but I especially took note of the comment that it (works 100%).
