- ✅ #06: ☕ Over AM Coffee, say Terje’s Script! (*** NOTES ***) (12:23pm!)
- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes
Today wasn’t marked by one major event, but by a series of small moments that all seemed to point in the same direction. Looking back over the day, I realized that almost everything I did revolved around learning, improving, and quietly building the life I hope to live.
This evening I drove to the McDonald’s on Cliff Avenue with my usual black coffee and tablet, hoping to spend a few quiet hours reading, writing, and watching YouTube. Unfortunately, I discovered that while the drive-thru stays open 24 hours, the dining room closes at 11:00 p.m. I even called the local A&W, hoping one of them might offer 24-hour seating, but no such luck. Apparently there really isn’t a place in the Comox Valley where someone can simply sit and work in the middle of the night.

While I was there, I watched an interview with a 72-year-old widower who had chosen to move to the Philippines instead of settling into retirement in the United States. One particular moment stayed with me. He described renting a modest apartment in Lahug, Cebu, walking downstairs to a nearby 7-Eleven for a beer, then sitting out on his balcony and quietly thinking to himself, “I could do this.” That simple sentence struck a chord. Curiosity got the better of me, and before long I had Google Maps open, searching around Lahug to see if I could identify the apartment building he might have been describing. I found one beside a 7-Eleven that seemed to fit the story, although there’s no way to know if it was actually the same place. Even so, for a few minutes I could almost picture myself standing on that balcony, wondering what a completely different chapter of life might feel like.
I decided to spent the rest of the evening at my ole’ reliable and much preferred McDonalds near the Home Depot. On the way I stopped by the Real Canadian Superstore and wandered through the shopping carts, continuing my little game of looking for abandoned loonies or toonies. I didn’t find any coins tonight, but I did discover something unexpected sitting in one of the carts: a package of scar-fading cream (see photo to the right). What made the find interesting was that earlier in the day I’d been thinking about my knee replacement scars. Did the Universe decide to bless me with this instead of a loonie or toonie tonight? Finding the cream at that particular moment immediately caught my attention. More than anything, it reminded me that healing often happens gradually, one small improvement at a time.
Back at home later tonight I continued working on my Universal Planner. One of today’s biggest projects was creating a new learning curriculum for Grand Theft Auto V. Rather than simply playing the game, I wanted to approach it the same way I approach everything else in my life—with structure, milestones, measurable progress, and a clear path toward mastery. What started as a simple game project gradually evolved into something much larger, with components for planning, controls, story missions, driving, combat, flying, exploration, tutorials, discoveries, and challenges. I even started building in links to YouTube tutorials so that every new skill would have a lesson attached to it. It felt less like creating a checklist and more like designing my own personal university course.
I also spent time planning my reading schedule for Dear Boy, the biography of Keith Moon. Since I’d already completed 114 pages of the 742-page Kindle edition, I calculated exactly how many pages I’d need to read each day in order to finish the book within three months. Once again, turning an abstract goal into a concrete daily plan somehow made the objective feel much more achievable.
As I look back over the day, I realize there was a common thread running through every conversation and every project. I was really doing the same thing over and over again: preparing for the next version of myself.
None of today’s moments were particularly dramatic on their own. But taken together, they remind me that the future I’m hoping for won’t arrive all at once. It will be built project by project, page by page, lesson by lesson, and choice by choice. And perhaps that’s exactly how meaningful change is supposed to happen. 🌱
