Today felt like one of those days where I was moving forward on two fronts at once: my health journey and my creative movements.

I started the day by logging my Daily Core Priority Pillars. Another weigh-in milestone — 289.6 lbs., which means I’m now down a total of 72.3 lbs. since the very beginning. That number really hit me. Seventy-two pounds is no small thing — it’s a different way of carrying myself, a different way of living. I stayed faithful to my supplements, Metamucil, collagen, and water intake. My skincare and firming routines are finally starting to feel like automatic rituals. These little steps — Dove cream, CeraVe cleanser, collagen scoops — they add up to proof that I’m not just losing weight, I’m actively re-sculpting myself into the man I’m becoming.

I also leaned into the ritual side of things — martini water, ring touch, cufflink adjustment, the calm smirk. I kept up my Barn Suite cleaning habit, clearing the cutting board area as a symbol of renewal. Tonight, I’ll fall asleep to subliminals, after whispering my nighttime intention to the Universe: to reveal what’s already mine but hidden, to let what is meant for me step clearly into my sight.

On the creative side, the big breakthrough came with the AI Diet Guide. I reviewed the cover art — a sleek humanoid robot holding a plate of potatoes, broccoli, and tomatoes — and decided it was perfect once the author line was removed. That single visual says everything: the future of intelligence fused with the timeless simplicity of food. We refined it until it matched the vision exactly, and then I started working on the back cover blurb. This book is more than a guide — it’s my story of how AI and discipline carried me into transformation. Having a professional-looking cover makes it feel real.

2025-09-08 - Citizen Kane

I went to Tim Horton’s this evening for a coffee and started to watch the movie “Citizen Kane” (see photo to the right). At the same time, my mind was on another passion project: the “Bring Tim Hortons Home” movement. I poured out what’s been stirring in me for years — the way Tim’s was a source of Canadian pride when I was growing up in the 70s and 80s, and how it feels now, under foreign ownership, like a shadow of what it once was. I compared it to the Gretzky trade — that moment of national heartbreak. Together we drafted a full launch manifesto and even designed banners for the new Facebook page: nostalgic covers featuring a coffee cup, maple leaf, and hockey stick. I even got a retro illustration for the pinned post — steam rising from a Tim’s cup forming a maple leaf. That single image captures exactly what I want to spark: a sense of belonging, memory, and pride.

I now have everything ready to launch: a manifesto, cover art, hashtags, and a movement identity. Starting with a Facebook page makes sense — it’s where everyday Canadians still gather. From there I can share stories, collect voices, and eventually point toward a petition. Even if we never literally buy Tim Hortons back, we can create the conversation and pressure that says: this brand belongs to Canadians, and it should never have been sold.

Looking back, today was about bringing things home — bringing my weight back down into a healthy range, bringing my book design into focus, and imagining how Tim’s itself could be brought back into Canadian hands. Every step feels like alignment — personal, creative, and cultural.
