- ✅ #06: ☕ Over AM Coffee, say Terje’s Script! (*** NOTES ***) (5:43 pm!)
- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes
The kids had no school today in Courtenay because it was the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We talked about how September 30 honours residential school survivors, the children who never returned home, and the families and communities affected. It also coincides with Orange Shirt Day, inspired by Phyllis Webstad’s experience of having her new orange shirt taken away at residential school. The message “Every Child Matters” gives the day its human focus. Later, the kids were playing an online dress-up game that sounded like Dress to Impress on Roblox, creating outfits and taking part in virtual fashion competitions.
I spent part of the day sorting out Facebook Page administration. I wanted to understand who controls a Page created under a personal account and how another person can receive “Facebook access with full control.” Later, I reviewed progress on the reader-community project for my interactive romance idea. The Page was already created, and today the introductory post was published, bringing the first two days of the plan to completion. Facebook’s display caused some confusion: administrators could see who it was published by while readers saw the Page’s name. That distinction certainly wasn’t obvious to me!
I looked at colour choices for my daily tracking fields, too. Highlighter yellow and fluorescent pink seemed like good ways to make important boxes stand out, with black or dark charcoal providing readable text against yellow. My thought was simple: if the fields catch my attention, perhaps I’ll return to them more consistently. Today also became DDVegan #0004, and I had a graphic created from my evening photographs to document the day as it actually unfolded.
By 5:43 p.m., the afternoon had become evening. It was overcast, possibly threatening rain, and I had eaten my first meal of the day. I was considering Tim Hortons and then McDonald’s for coffee and some online work. I felt cautiously interested in the Speak Up Method, although I didn’t know how it might work out. My check-in with the Universe asked for guidance toward passion, happiness, joy, and doing what was right.
That conversation became more personal. I talked about what finding a coin means to me: a small, tangible reassurance that I’m being heard. Having felt unheard by people close to me, silence can touch an old hurt. My longing for a soulmate is central to that feeling. At 66, I described it as a carrot that never gets any closer, and today briefly felt like another day of being ignored. I didn’t want a promise that love was just around the corner. I wanted the longing itself to be understood.
I also watched and discussed an Andrew Taylor video about his Los Angeles trip during his potato challenge. He toured the city with other plant-based visitors and attended the VegSource Healthy Lifestyle Expo. What stood out was his preparation: when a restaurant had no potatoes, he enjoyed the company and later ate the food he had brought. We also summarized another man’s account of meeting his Filipina wife through letters in the 1990s, including the distance, expensive phone calls, and eventual trip to meet her.

In the evening, I went to Tim Hortons for coffee and a biscuit with peanut butter and strawberry jam (see photo to the right). I took pictures before and after spreading the biscuit halves. While there, I watched a Philippines travel vlog showing an open-air café overlooking green hills. It was a little virtual travel during an ordinary coffee stop.
At McDonald’s, I had coffee, fries, and a burger, and spent time on paperwork and project work. Outside, I noticed a small blue disc with a pink jellyfish design on the pavement and photographed it from a distance and close up. It wasn’t the toonie I had been hoping for, but it caught my attention. My photographs also recorded a Monopoly prize for medium fries. Later viewing included a true-crime documentary about Stephen and Evelyn and a video about retirement in the Philippines. The retirement discussion led me to ask about John from California Expat and his weekly dinners; the listing we found described regular gatherings in BGC, while a current Makati schedule remained unconfirmed.
Around 11:39 p.m., I left McDonald’s. I had enjoyed coffee, done some work, and found reasons to call it a good day. I considered a little detour toward Milano or Tim Hortons before heading home, wondering what the next fifteen minutes might bring. The gentler approach we discussed was to choose something calm and practical, stay open to a natural conversation, and let the evening stand on its own. As I left, I felt grateful to have made it through the day and described myself as healthy and happy. That was where I left the night’s story.
