- ✅ #06: ☕ Over AM Coffee, say Terje’s Script! (*** NOTES ***) (9:11 am)
- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes
Today was supposed to be one of those special days I would remember forever, and I suppose it will be—just not quite for the reasons I expected.
I left the Comox Valley this morning headed for Victoria to see Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings. Before leaving, I stopped at McDonald’s and dropped off some Filipino treats, including Curly Tops chocolates, along with a little card thanking the staff for always being so friendly and cheerful. It felt like a nice way to start the day.
I stopped at my usual little Petro-Canada near Parksville and bought a $2 Blackjack lottery ticket and a $1 Gold Rush ticket. Neither one made me rich. I also bought jalapeño chips and a Crispy Crunch bar, which gradually disappeared as I drove.
For almost the entire trip south, I listened to Neville Goddard recordings I’d downloaded to my iPhone. That made the drive about much more than simply getting to Victoria. I kept thinking about imagination and living in the end. I’m becoming excited by the idea that the movie itself can be something beautiful—something that puts me into the feeling of happiness regardless of what eventually happens in the physical world.
By the time I reached Duncan, I was tired enough that I pulled into the parking lot near Burger King and had a little nap. When I woke up, I decided to get something I hadn’t eaten since leaving the United States about two years ago: a Whopper.
There had been some problem with the drive-thru ordering system, so I had to order at the window. And there I encountered an absolutely adorable young Filipino employee wearing a little Burger King visor. She had this wonderfully sweet smile.
The Whopper was absolutely delicious.
Eventually I reached Victoria and headed for the big event.
I’d paid a lot of money for a VIP ticket. The instructions had made it sound imperative that VIP guests arrive at 5:30 sharp or risk missing the experience, so I did. Another fellow was there with his mother, and gradually the line grew.
Then we waited.
And waited.
We were screened, had our VIP credentials checked, moved from one line to another, and received surprisingly little information about what was actually happening. At one point a woman needed to use the bathroom and wasn’t initially allowed to do so. There was no coffee, water or comfortable place for this largely older group of fans to wait. Eventually we discovered that the meet-and-greet with Randy and Burton wasn’t happening before the concert after all. It would be afterward.
So what exactly was the early VIP experience? Mostly, it seemed, the privilege of getting inside early and buying expensive merchandise before everybody else.
I eventually bought some french fries and a Pepsi. The concession stand advertised pretzels but didn’t have any. Then there was no ketchup, mustard or relish for the fries. Even the receipt machine wasn’t cooperating. None of this was catastrophic, of course, but after paying a premium for a VIP experience, the whole operation felt surprisingly disorganized.
There was also an unexpected change to the concert. Chilliwack couldn’t perform as planned because of illness, so Kim Mitchell stepped in as the opening act.

Then came Randy and Burton.
And the concert itself was terrific (see photo to the right).
From Row 2, I watched these two Canadian music legends perform songs that have survived for more than half a century. These Eyes. Laughing. Undun. American Woman. No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature. No Time. And the BTO material as well. Whatever happened later cannot erase the experience of sitting that close and watching Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings actually perform those songs together.
But there was something else I’d been anticipating almost as much as the concert.
For days I’d imagined meeting Randy.
After performing a long concert, Randy and Burton were sitting on stools. They both looked worn out.
Someone took my camera and ushered me between them for the photograph.
A quick photo and I was ushered out.
I was deeply disappointed.
And there’s an even stranger layer to today. I spent hours driving to Victoria listening to Neville Goddard and thinking about imagination, living in the end and expecting good things. I’d imagined the Randy encounter repeatedly. I’d imagined something warm, funny and meaningful.
I’m not going to invent an explanation for that tonight. Maybe Neville was wrong about some things. Maybe imagination changes us more reliably than it changes external events. Maybe this is somehow an unfinished “bridge of incidents.” Maybe nothing further will ever happen.
I just don’t know.
What an extraordinary day.
