- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes
Today wasn’t a day of dramatic breakthroughs. It was a day of quiet momentum. Looking back, I realize that’s becoming a theme in my life lately. Instead of waiting for one giant event to change everything, I’m slowly building a better life through small, consistent actions.
The day began as I drove to my dental appointment to get my crown “glued” back in place. The morning was overcast, but as I talked to the Universe, the sun broke through the clouds. I thanked the Universe for something I hadn’t expected to be grateful for—the fact that I didn’t find any coins the night before. A few days ago I probably would have been disappointed. Today I realized that if I found coins every single time, they would eventually lose their meaning. Maybe the value isn’t in the coins themselves but in remaining open to little moments of encouragement whenever they happen.
One thing that stayed with me all day was a dream I had just before waking. Whether it was simply a dream or something more meaningful, it left me with a deep sense of peace. I found myself hoping the day might contain another small nudge in that direction.
Today also marked the official beginning of a brand-new habit that I think could become one of the most important changes I’ve made this year. I asked Alexa to set a one-hour timer and committed to spending one focused hour every day improving the barn suite. During today’s hour I washed the dishes, sorted and bagged the recycling, prepared it to be taken out, organized my box of collectible metals and placed them on the shelf near the music studio, mounted the extra cables on my pull-up bar, and did the laundry. While sorting the recycling, I noticed what looked like evidence that a rat had been chewing on some of the wrappers, something I’ll have to investigate. None of these tasks were exciting by themselves, but together they made the space feel noticeably calmer and more organized. More importantly, they established a system instead of relying on motivation.
Later I stopped at Dollarama hoping to find some small display racks to prop up my framed collectible metals. Unfortunately, they didn’t have anything suitable, but I did pick up some dishwashing liquid and a package of scouring pads, so it wasn’t a wasted trip. Sometimes progress is simply checking a few more things off the list.

I also spent part of the day learning. Later that evening, I found myself back at one of my now familiar places—McDonald’s—with a coffee, quietly watching Day 38 of the SpudFit YouTube series (see photo to the right). I watched another video where he visited a produce market after the owner generously offered to supply him with potatoes for an entire year. Those evenings are becoming more than just coffee breaks. They’re turning into dedicated learning sessions where I collect ideas for my own writing, videos, and future projects.
On the way home from McDonald’s, I made a stop at the Superstore. As has become a bit of a game lately, I walked through the parking lot with my eyes open, wondering if tonight might bring another loonie or some other little wink from the Universe. There were no coins tonight. Surprisingly, I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, I smiled. The game itself has become enjoyable regardless of the outcome. That’s probably healthier than needing the universe to reassure me every evening.
Looking back, today wasn’t about dramatic manifestations or life-changing events. It was about systems, honesty, and participation. I started building a habit that could transform my living space. I continued building habits that are transforming my health and my mind. I admitted feelings I’ve been trying to understand for years. And perhaps most importantly, I accepted that I don’t need to solve my entire future today.
Maybe that’s what today was really about.
Not finding all the answers.
Just becoming a little more honest, a little more organized, a little more peaceful, and a little more willing to trust that tomorrow will take care of itself if I continue showing up today.
