Saturday! Yippee! Here is item #1 on my latest “ToDo List”: (You can use these symbols: ✅).

2026-04-18 - Weight Loss Results

Remember, losing weight means:

  • No more joint pain.
  • Easier to get up/down stairs.
  • New clothes.
  • Socialize more.
  • Travel more.

So, keep motivated! Here goes:

Morning

  • #01: 🪄 Maggie’s Manifestation: The Optimal State From Which To Manifest Anything You Want (Neville Goddard/Law Of Assumption)
    • (At the 1:20 point she says the OPTIMAL STATE IS “I AM 100% OKAY WITH NOT GETTING THIS THING, BUT I KNOW I WILL GET IT”!  THIS IS THE STATE THAT HAS ALWAYS WORKED FOR HER AND GOTTEN HER WHATEVER SHE WANTS!!!)
  • #02: 📈 Weigh yourself! (361.9 lbs. – xxx.x lbs. = xx.x lbs. total weight loss.)
  • ✅ #03: 📉 Record Weight Down in Title!
  • ✅ #04: 😴 Record any Nighttime Whispers! (The Shared Ironing Board!)
  • ✅ #05: ☕ Over AM Coffee, say Terje’s Script! (*** NOTES ***) (10:41 am!)
    • #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
    • #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
    • #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
    • #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
    • #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
    • #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
    • #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes

Today was one of those days that didn’t seem particularly remarkable on the surface, yet somehow felt satisfying all the same.

2026-05-30 - Two Sauces

I spent much of the day at home. It was one of those slower Saturdays where there wasn’t any great rush to get anywhere or do anything. This morning I was still in bed at 10:41 a.m., talking to the Universe and reflecting on life. I was grateful that I had finally completed my Comox Coffee profile the night before. Now the profile is out there, and we’ll see what happens. Maybe I’ll meet some interesting people. Maybe I’ll simply have some good conversations over coffee. Time will tell.

Later in the day, I ventured out to Good’s Grocery, a small Filipino-Asian-Mexican grocery store. I picked up some large burrito wraps and chatted with one of the women working there. I think she was the Filipino daughter of the owner. She recommended two sauces for me to try. The first was a sweet chili sauce, and the second was a Filipino vinegar-based sauce called Suka Pinakurat (see photo to the right). I had never tried either of them before, but they looked interesting, and I figured they might add a little variety to future meals. It’s funny how sometimes a simple recommendation from a stranger can turn into a small adventure.

As the evening approached, I found myself at McDonald’s. This has become one of my favorite little places to sit and watch the world go by. This evening I redeemed 2,000 McDonald’s points and received a free coffee. Before leaving home, I had packed three homemade scones, so I brought those with me as well. I settled into a comfortable seat, opened YouTube on my tablet, and watched the news while enjoying my coffee and scones.

The best part?

The entire meal cost me absolutely nothing.

Zero dollars.

Zero cents.

The coffee was free thanks to points I had accumulated, and the scones were homemade. I sat there for quite a while, sipping my coffee, watching people come and go, and enjoying a simple moment of peace. In a world where it often feels like everything costs money, there was something deeply satisfying about having an enjoyable evening that cost absolutely nothing.

As I sat there, I found myself thinking about how many of the moments I enjoy most these days aren’t extravagant at all. They’re simple. A conversation with someone at a grocery store. A recommendation for a new sauce. A free coffee. A comfortable chair. A tablet playing videos. A chance to sit quietly and observe life unfolding around me.

These aren’t the moments that make headlines.

They aren’t the moments people usually brag about.

But they are often the moments that end up becoming the memories.

Tomorrow I’ll probably try one of those sauces. I’ll continue working on my projects. Maybe I’ll get some footage of the sunset at Goose Spit. Maybe I’ll hear back from someone through the coffee club. Maybe something unexpected will happen.

Or maybe nothing dramatic will happen at all.

Either way, today reminded me that a good day doesn’t have to be expensive, complicated, or extraordinary.

Sometimes a good day is simply a free coffee, three homemade scones, and a quiet evening spent watching the world go by.
