2025-08-07 - Banana Heart Summer

Today felt like a quietly powerful page in my Becoming log — not loud, not flashy, but quietly true. I started the day with the scale tipping at 291.3 lbs — 70.6 down from the start, 49.3 down since the AI Diet truly began shaping this vessel. The number mattered, yes, but what mattered more was how it aligned with everything else I showed up for.

My copy of “Banana Heart Summer” came today (see photo to the right!)

The morning mantra — I mow the grass. I make the space. — echoed throughout the entire day. It was a signal. A rhythm. I watched Eckhart’s video and something cracked open: the phrase I still care came uninvited, but wholly needed. It became the invisible thread tying together the mowing, the coffee stillness at Quality Foods, and even the subtle trimming of my voiceover script.

Evie showed up in the one-sentence update, the 60-second visualization, even the subliminal audio before sleep. There was no “big moment,” just flickers: a McDonald’s joke, the idea of the “special sauce,” and the soft return of a familiar feeling.

From the calm smirk to the cufflink, from the Dove cream to the martini water ritual, I kept showing up in little ways. Like a man who knows the miracle might not arrive… but still sets the table anyway. I uploaded the Cutting Board short at 5:45 PM, then made sure I hydrated, tended to skin and soul, and marked the moment.

No one clapped. But something in the universe did nod.
