📋Additional Daily Notes
I woke up around 11:30 this morning and lay there for a few minutes wondering what I would do with the day. Part of me wanted to stay home. Make a nice omelet. Keep it simple. Quiet. Productive in a contained way.
But there was a restless edge underneath that thought. A subtle push to get out of the house. The idea of taking a drive started forming, and along with it came the appeal of listening to that lecture again — Neville Goddard’s Ladder Method. Living in the end. The three-day experiment. That felt interesting enough to move on.
So I got in the car and drove to Parksville.

On the way, I stopped at the Petro-Canada station and picked up a couple of lottery tickets — a Blackjack and a 2X scratcher. Just a small detour. A little experiment in possibility while listening to ideas about assumption and reality. Won $7 (see photo to the right!)
Then I continued on.
I stopped at Jalapeños in Parksville. Chips and guacamole. Rice and beans. A taco. Bright colors on the walls. Sunlight through the windows. It felt grounded and sensory — a pause in motion.
After that, I went down the street to Café 356 (see bottom pic to the right). The car-themed café with the Porsche inside, racing memorabilia, model cars, and that industrial garage aesthetic. I had coffee and pie and sat in that atmosphere for a while. It felt different from the Mexican restaurant — more curated, more precise. A different kind of space.
From upstairs, I looked out the window at the street below. Cars moving. Blue sky. Mountains in the distance. That quiet observer feeling.
Later, I went to Quality Foods in Qualicum Beach. Just moving through the store. A practical stop. Ordinary life again.
And tonight, I ended up at McDonald’s. Laptop open. Tablet playing YouTube. A Coke on the table. Working a bit. Sitting in that familiar, neutral space to close out the day.
Nothing dramatic happened.
No jackpot.
No breakthrough.
No big revelation.
Just movement.
From home to highway.
From lecture to lottery.
From tacos to Porsche café.
From grocery aisles to McDonald’s booth.
A full Sunday.
And somehow, that was enough.
