📋Additional Daily Notes
My YouTube short on Sultans of Swing passing 1,000 views, and I asked how to reply to a viewer’s comment. After that, I mentioned I had picked up two new subscribers, bringing that channel to six total, and I shared that six in six months felt a bit slow.
Interesting dream last night. This one involved an older Indian man grabbing onto my legs while I flapped my arms and lifted us both into the air. He kept thanking me. We flew over what looked like an airport area. Then the dream shifted and I was driving through a grassy field set up as a parking lot, similar to overflow parking at outdoor concerts. The brakes in my car weren’t working well in the rain. I slid out into traffic, causing other cars to honk, but nothing dangerous happened.

Around midday I shared photos from Mignon & Kie, a café I had never visited before. I described sitting there with a $5 Americano while watching Maggie Murphy’s latest video (see photo to the right), where she talks about manifestation as simply choosing what you want and letting life bring the rest through your bridge of incidents. I looked around the café and wondered if anything around me might qualify as part of a bridge. I asked for examples of what a bridge of incidents might look like. Then we discussed the point Maggie made about not forcing meaning but assuming things might still be useful.
I asked how to use the café moment itself as part of my Becoming work. I said I was doing that — staying calm, staying neutral. I then described a part of Maggie’s video where she talked about wanting to write a document on using ChatGPT. She said she used to get mad at the chatbot, push back at it, and that resistance is where she found insight. That made me wonder if I should push back more, and whether some of ChatGPT’s answers might be BS.
Then the conversation shifted to stocks. I asked if I could only pick one stock for next year to make a fortune, what would it be. We talked about the limitations of predicting markets, the role of ETFs, the AI megacycle, and NVIDIA as the highest-probability name in a forced-choice scenario. I joked that since I have a million dollars in debt, I’m already good. Then I said besides NVIDIA I hold Shopify, Microsoft, Google, Tesla, Palo Alto Networks, and Palantir. We talked through what that means structurally — a tech-heavy, AI-aligned portfolio — and that it isn’t reckless, just conviction-heavy. I clarified that, yes, the system will let me choose one, and I said “NVDA.”
After that, I wrote “Latidious,” and ChatGPT clarified I meant “litigious,” referring to a story Maggie told about a family member who was quick to threaten legal action. I went on to recount another part of her video: her mother, age 79, saying she felt like she had failed Maggie as a parent because Maggie doesn’t have a Christmas tree. We talked through the generational guilt and emotional projection behind that.
I said Maggie claims she loves ChatGPT and feels it should be used personally a few times a year. We discussed what she meant emotionally and symbolically, not literally. Then I continued summarizing her video — all about her mother’s guilt, Christmas, the absence of a tree, and Maggie trying to decide whether she should feel guilty or go home for Christmas Eve. In the end, Maggie says she looks at her life with the attitude: if this situation is here, it’s here for her benefit, so she’ll use it.
Finally, I suggested a way I might comment: that her mother has unresolved issues about the past and may never fully explore them, carrying those feelings until the end. And then I asked for this chronological rundown of everything we discussed so I can use it for a blog post.
