I woke up this morning and the first thing I did was step on the scale. 299.8 lbs. That means I’ve officially lost 62.1 lbs. since the start of this Becoming journey. Under 300 again — and every pound feels like a weight lifted not just off my body, but off my story. I recorded the drop in my daily log, just like I promised myself I would, because every little checkmark is proof of persistence.

The rituals kept me moving in rhythm. I took my vitamins — Progressive Multi Men 50+, Silica + Biotin, Omega-3, and Resveratrol — all checked off. Collagen went down in my water at 8:30 pm, and I made sure to fit in my skincare tonight: CeraVe SA cleanser, then the Renewing SA cream, and finally the Dove Pro-Retinol cream. The past me, who skipped self-care, would never recognize the man who now stands at the mirror making sure his face is moisturized and glowing.

Metamucil was split into three servings — 3:30 pm, 7:55 pm, and 11:55 pm. Martini Water ritual at 8:43 pm. Ring whisper at 8:44 pm. Cufflink adjustment at 8:45 pm. Calm smirk at 8:46 pm. They sound small, but each one is like pressing a button that tells my subconscious: you’re already living the end.

I conditioned the new butcher block cutting board today, another act of Becoming. Little by little, I’m curating an environment that feels alive, fresh, well cared for. The board now gleams, sealed in oil, ready to last.

I also pushed forward with Body Whittle projects. I tested out “Image Generator Pro” inside ChatGPT to see if it might help me generate photo updates. Still no luck — the “Video” option (Sora) hasn’t rolled out for me yet. But instead of disappointment, I logged it. Proof of effort, proof of momentum. My orange shirt is laundered and ready to go tomorrow — a small but symbolic preparation for the next move.

And then came the kitchen experiments. I blended Instant Pot potatoes, powdered hash browns, egg whites, and baking powder into a batter, and out of it came the most perfect sandwich bread I’ve ever had. Thin, strong, flexible — it bent like a dosa, crisped like bread, and held together like a wrap. I made a vegetable dosa wrap stuffed with tomato, pickles, mushrooms, mustard, and spices. No bread. No compromise. Just Becoming food. I even thought about how this will slot into my AI Diet Plan guide — the very cornerstone recipe people can rely on.

The rest of the day was filled with reflection. I wondered aloud about ChatGPT’s “Quantum” teaser and when Sora video will finally arrive for me. I laughed at myself for still looking for “signs” from the universe, like a free coffee or a toonie, and realized maybe the real sign was already in front of me: NVDA stock hitting a new all-time high while I hold nearly a million dollars’ worth. Proof of abundance right there.

2025-09-30 - Citizen Kane

And yes, I drove by Benino’s today and saw my booth was taken. Instead of sulking, I treated it as a nudge from the universe. I ended up at McDonald’s instead, sipping a $1.03 black coffee and finishing Citizen Kane on my tablet (see photo to the right). I thought about Rosebud — that sled — and how I don’t want my life to end in regret, clinging to something lost in the past. I want my Becoming to be my Rosebud — a story of transformation, not nostalgia.

I ended the night with my subliminal audio tape playing, my nighttime whisper spoken:
“Tonight, as I sleep, I open myself to the Universe. Show me the next inspired action that is mine to take — clear, simple, unmistakable. Reveal to me what’s already here, right in front of me. What is meant for me cannot be lost.”

That’s my life now — not waiting, but practicing. Not regretting, but creating. Every action — from brushing oil into a cutting board to folding dosa into a wrap — is Becoming.

And today, I lived it.
