- ✅ #05: ☕ Over AM Coffee, say Terje’s Script! (*** NOTES ***) (12:30 pm)
- #1) Hello – Begin by acknowledging them out loud. Simply say “Hello Universe” and open the conversation. The goal is not perfection or certainty, but connection. Say “THANK YOU” for everything and be SPECIFIC about manifestations!
- #2) Honesty – Speak truthfully about what you actually feel — fear, loneliness, frustration, gratitude, confusion, hope, excitement, doubt, or exhaustion. Don’t perform spirituality. Just be real.
- #3) Companionship – Treat them like companions walking beside you. Share little moments throughout the day: things you notice, appreciate, wonder about, or find beautiful or funny. Build relationship, not just requests.
- #4) Meetings – Take a few moments each day to talk through your life with them — what’s ahead today, what you’re worried about, what you want, where you feel stuck, and where you’d appreciate support or clarity.
- #5) Asking – Ask first for emotional relief and inner calm, then ask for solutions, guidance, pop-ins, signs, opportunities, ideas, or small favors. Ask openly without demanding exact outcomes or trying to control how the answer arrives.
- #6) Releasing – After asking, stop forcing. Go live your life. Walk, drive, work, brainstorm out loud, drink coffee, move through ordinary moments, and allow ideas or clarity to arise naturally instead of mentally gripping for answers.
- #7) Noticing – Pay attention to what returns — sudden ideas, emotional shifts, coincidences, synchronicities, timing, relief, unexpected opportunities, little “winks,” or moments that feel quietly meaningful. Then continue the conversation and relationship over time.

📋Additional Daily Notes
Today felt less like working on a spreadsheet and more like designing an operating system for my life. What started as a few simple questions about formulas quickly evolved into rethinking how I want to manage my goals every single day. Rather than juggling separate trackers for my diet, projects, and personal growth, I wanted one place that would quietly guide me toward the life I’m trying to create.
One of the first improvements was to my AI Diet sheet. I wanted my Current Weight field to update automatically from the latest weight I entered instead of requiring manual updates. We also talked about making my project sheets smarter by using dropdowns with colorful status indicators instead of plain text. I liked the idea of seeing at a glance whether something was Not Started, In Progress, Waiting, Reviewing, or Complete. It makes the sheet feel less like a database and more like an actual project manager.
The AI Diet Book planner went through several iterations as well. At first, I had separate “Sprint Status” and “Asset Status” fields, but after stepping back it became obvious they were really tracking the same thing. Simplicity won. One status field was enough. We also reorganized the project so every chapter, worksheet, graphic, website task, and editing item could automatically feed the overall progress of the book instead of me updating summary numbers by hand. If a chapter is marked Complete, the dashboard should know it’s complete without me telling it twice.
That philosophy of eliminating duplicate work became the theme of the entire day. I wanted formulas to do the repetitive thinking for me. Planned days automatically become the next calendar date. Today’s minutes automatically total every focused work session. My streak automatically counts the number of days I’ve actually kept my commitment. Even my “Next Action” should eventually be chosen automatically by finding the first unfinished task instead of requiring me to decide every time I sit down.

One of my favorite additions was the Daily Becoming Session page. We added a small inspirational graphic of a seedling (see photo to the right) growing toward the sunrise with the reminder:
“Today I intentionally invest time, attention, and effort into the life I am creating. Every session is a seed planted.”
That single image completely changed the feel of the page. Instead of looking like another spreadsheet, it now feels like an invitation. Every focused work session is no longer just checking boxes—it becomes another seed planted toward the future I’m building.
We also talked about the purpose of the Seed Planted / Reflection column. Rather than recording what I did—that’s already captured elsewhere—the idea is to record what today’s effort planted. A few examples might be:
- Every completed session strengthens my identity as someone who follows through.
- Today’s chapter is one less obstacle between me and publishing the AI Diet Book.
- Small consistent actions compound into extraordinary results.
- Future Kirk will thank today’s Kirk for showing up.
Those kinds of reflections tie directly into the manifestation philosophy I’ve been studying for so long. Every action is evidence of becoming the person I intend to be.
The biggest design decision of the day involved my dashboard. I already had a fairly comprehensive dashboard, but the more I looked at it, the more it felt busy. Too many tables. Too many numbers. Too much maintenance. What I really wanted was something I could glance at for ten seconds every morning and instantly know what mattered today.
After several redesigns, we landed on something much cleaner: today’s commitments at the top, a simple scoreboard showing my streak, today’s minutes, and current weight, followed by the single Next Action I should work on next. Instead of trying to display everything, the dashboard should quietly point me toward the next obvious step.
Not every conversation today was about spreadsheets. I also learned why people jokingly call Bachman-Turner Overdrive “Kathleen Turner Overdrive”—a pun that, in my opinion, isn’t particularly funny. We looked up today’s Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, where Joey Chestnut captured another championship by eating 66 hot dogs despite oppressive heat, and I learned a little about his former fiancée, Neslie Ricasa, who has since married and started a family. We also talked about Bernie Sanders’ estimated net worth and looked at a colorful “Wooooo! Energy” sparkling mushroom drink inspired by professional wrestling.
Finally, I watched another Spud Fit video featuring humble Kip potatoes. Andrew’s message wasn’t really about potatoes at all. It was about removing excuses. Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. Success doesn’t require gourmet recipes or perfect-looking food. Sometimes all you need is an ugly potato, an oven, and the willingness to keep showing up.
Looking back over everything today, a common thread emerges. Whether it’s my diet, my planner, my book, or my daily habits, I’m trying to eliminate friction. Every unnecessary decision, duplicate entry, or confusing design is another opportunity to simplify. The easier the system becomes, the more likely I am to use it consistently.
And consistency, more than anything else, is what plants the seeds that eventually grow into an entirely different life.
As I was driving to McDonalds tonight for a coffee a car passed me going 1000 miles per hour (give or take). He/She disappeared and might have gone to the hospital? Perhaps his wife was giving birth…
Some RCMP officers were at McDonalds tonight so I chatted with them about my idea of opening a vending machine business that would be open 24/7. Not a good idea because of vandalism was the response, which is what I expected…
