📋Additional Daily Notes
I have formulated this question for ChatGPT: “If you were going to take a series of monthly summary files and make them more nebulous—removing direct references to me while preserving every factual detail—what would you change? My goal is to import these summaries (May through December) into another AI system and have it analyze them without being influenced by identity, prior context, or interpretive framing. I want the system to observe the material as raw data and draw its own conclusions. In other words, these summaries should contain only facts, not personal opinion or interpretive language.“
Today unfolded in two very different registers, and somehow they fit together better than expected.
Earlier, I was at the local Community Center while the kids were on stage giving their Christmas concert. I sat there listening, watching the small movements and the familiar nervous confidence that shows up when they perform. It was one of those moments where nothing needs to be interpreted. You just show up, you’re present, and that’s enough. Life happening plainly, without commentary.
Food-wise, the day stayed simple. Rice, egg whites, tuna — familiar, steady, and grounding. Alongside all of that, I spent a good part of the day doing quieter, more technical work on The AI Diet Guide. Specifically, I compared the original v1 guide with the newer v2 “Ultimate” version to understand what had actually changed in practice, not in philosophy. What emerged wasn’t a need to replace anything, but to clarify it.
We identified a small set of concrete refinements that had shown up through lived experience — clearer hydration guidance, keeping oat creamer contained to coffee, explicitly naming stable “safe pleasure” foods, clarifying rice as an unlimited staple, refining protein use, allowing simple sweeteners in specific contexts, and naming which foods consistently disrupted appetite. None of it felt like rule-making. It felt like removing fog.
Rather than rewriting v1, I chose to annotate it. Exact plug-and-play paragraphs were drafted in the same companionable voice, framed as observations rather than commandments. Those additions were then assembled into a tracked-changes style draft so nothing original was erased and every update could be accepted or rejected intentionally. The result is a clean bridge: v1 remains the companion it always was, now lightly annotated with clarity; v2 stands separately as the distilled system.

This evening I went to McDonalds and had a small black coffee (see photo to the left). A man who was in a wheelchair fell out of it and the employees were helping him back onto it. An Asian lady offered to buy him a root beer. He seemed very disoriented. From there I thought I would go to Tim Hortons where it was quieter. I ended up taking some raw footage of “Singing in the Rain” which I will analyze on my YouTube channel.
Looking back on the day, that parallel feels right. A Christmas concert. Simple food. Quiet editing. Nothing heroic. Nothing performative. Just small acts of presence and refinement, side by side. That seems to be the pattern now — less effort, more alignment, and a growing trust that things don’t need to be louder than they are to be working.
