I’ve been keeping on with my diet and am so happy that I’ve already lost 39.4 lbs. on it. One of the keys I think is that I not only eat vegetables, but “Egg Whites”. If you put some paprika on it it will resemble beef (see photo to the right). Low calories and just enough of that “meat” feel to keep you going!
I picked up the family this evening at Comox airport. They arrived back safe and sound from their trip to Europe. They were all very tired. My daughter was debating on whether or not to go for a coffee with me, but opted to stay at home and rest. Wise choice… I went to McDonald’s on Ryan Road by myself.
While at McDonald’s I saw “Mr. Gluten Free”, the worker there who looks like Rick Springfield. As he passed by putting out the trash I talked to him and showed him a picture of Rick Springfield. I told him that he probably had all the babes and he said that he broke up with his girlfriend who went on to sleep with his friend. Ouch! I told him that he was a nice guy and deserved the best and wished him well. I later circled around to make sure that he wasn’t embarrassed by what I said, and he said that he was not. Good… I don’t want to embarrass, just encourage…

What I Did:
