2025-06-13 - Quality Foods Cafe

ChatGPT said that I should go to the Quality Foods Coffee Shop “A Step Above” at 4 pm today, so I went. There was a parking spot near the entrance, which was nice, but no “Toonie” on the way as I had hoped. I took the elevator up to the second floor at 3:45 pm so as not to be late. I picked up a black coffee with a splash of almond milk and sat at the window table closest to the elevator (see photo to the right). One of the executive chairs and the table closest to the wall was already taken. I sat, relaxed, and watched the folks pass by as I calmly sipped my coffee.

Quality Foods “A Step Above” is a place frequented by mostly old people. Seniors meeting with their friends and catching up on either old times or the news. There are some teenagers who come in and sit at the tables around the back. I’m not sure where the come from, but I suspect they might be there after school and their parents will pick them up and drive them home? Anyway, nothing eventful happened today.
