Panera Bread is back to regular hours, so I stopped off for a cup of coffee around noon today. I decided that I would have just straight “Light Roast” today with a splash of almond milk, and then sat at a table towards the window to enjoy it. I thought I would start off the session with a game of Chess.com. I then watched a few Abraham Hicks YouTube videos before heading down to the Dollar Store to pick up a white “bread” container for my wife.
While I was at the Dollar Store, I texted my daughter to see if she wanted the German ice cream cake at Aldi that we saw the other day. She declined saying that we have too many sweets in the house anyway. At any rate, I thought I would stop by Aldi to see if they had any left over, or if there was such a Christmas rush, they were all gone. Well, they were all gone, but that’s not the interesting thing. As I was leaving the store, I noticed that one of the shopping carts had not been properly returned and there was a quarter left in the slot (see photo to the left). Well, I promptly took advantage of the situation and retrieved the quarter! After carefully looking it over (see photo to the right), I see that it has no “KWF” markings, but at least it’s a quarter, and that accounts for something!
I’m thinking more and more about this situation, and is this acting upon “inspiration” rather than “motivation” like Abraham Hicks talks about in various YouTube videos? They say that you are supposed to be “inspired”, which is an intense desire to do something if you are connected to “The Source”. I did have a strong feeling to go into Aldi when I was at the Dollar Store, so perhaps this is the “inspired” thought they are talking about? I will have to look into this some more…
Here’s how today ended up in “Visual ToDo List” terms:
