📋Additional Daily Notes

Today was Christmas Day, and it unfolded in a way that was quieter and more ordinary than the dramatic holidays of memory, but also more honest.
The morning started with gifts (see photo to the right). We all gathered and opened them together, and in that simple ritual there was a sense that things were still holding. My son’s big gift was a 3D printer, which immediately became the center of gravity for the day. He was genuinely excited, the kind of excitement that pulls you into the moment whether you planned on it or not. My daughter was just as happy with what she received — quartz bookends, clothes, and a handful of things she’d clearly been thinking about. Seeing both of them content and engaged felt grounding. They had also picked up a few things for me in Toronto, which carried its own quiet warmth. I gave my wife a large collage made from 1,000-piece puzzles — a year-in-pictures kind of gift — and she seemed genuinely pleased with it.
In the evening, my daughter and I ended up in the living room watching YouTube together. We went down one of those rabbit holes that feels oddly bonding: Egyptian history, the pyramids, theories about how they were built, and speculation about whether aliens had anything to do with it. It was half serious, half playful, and entirely human. Just sitting there, watching videos, talking lightly, sharing curiosity — that mattered more than any formal tradition.
Throughout the day, my thoughts kept returning to the larger ideas I’ve been circling lately: the Unified Manifestation System, the Philippines charity, and the teachings I’ve absorbed over the years from people like Neville Goddard and, more recently, Alison Coghlan. Today clarified something important for me. I’m no longer interested in using ideas like manifestation as a way to demand outcomes from life or to explain away disappointment. Listening to Neville, or to Alison, can still be meaningful — but only when those ideas reduce pressure rather than increase it. When “living in the end” turns into an ultimatum or a test of faith, it stops being helpful. Today reminded me that any system worth keeping has to stabilize the body and quiet the mind before it promises anything else.
The same is true of the Philippines charity. I still feel drawn to the idea, but today it felt less like a dream to escape into and more like a question to be handled soberly and step by step, if at all. Big visions don’t need to be abandoned, but they also don’t need to be forced into existence as proof that life is meaningful. If that project ever happens, it will need to come from steadiness, not urgency.
I weighed in this morning at 328.4 pounds, which puts me at 33.5 pounds down from where I started. I logged it, noted that there were no nighttime whispers to record, and completed my daily internal-state check. I listened to a Neville-based subliminal later on, not as a spell or a guarantee, but as a way to settle before sleep. I took my vitamins and stayed within the general structure I’ve been building. I didn’t force completion of everything. I just did enough to remain in rhythm.
The UMS thought that stayed with me most today was simple: a strong system doesn’t need miracles to justify itself. If it helps me eat better, show up consistently, and move through a day without adding unnecessary strain, then it’s doing its job. Christmas didn’t need to confirm or deny my beliefs. Alison didn’t need to be right or wrong. Neville didn’t need to deliver anything. The day just needed to be lived.
Today wasn’t about breakthroughs or revelations. It was about presence, restraint, and continuity. Christmas didn’t solve anything, but it didn’t break anything either. And right now, that feels like enough.
