📋Additional Daily Notes

This morning I thought about my small Neville Goddard Facebook group, which only has three members. I wondered about ads, but it became clear that ads amplify what already exists and that it’s too early. The better approach is organic gravity. Writing honestly, consistently, and letting the group be a quiet home base rather than a performance. I acknowledged how discouraging it feels to post into silence, and how that silence touches older wounds of invisibility. Still, being early isn’t the same as being ignored. The group is a room I’m furnishing before people arrive.

I formed a simple plan: keep the group link on my personal About page, post something deeply resonant in the group itself, and engage thoughtfully in larger LOA groups without promoting or dropping links. Curiosity should do the work. I drafted an anchor post that speaks to being in between, no longer chasing outcomes but not fully arrived either, and wanting a life that feels inhabited rather than optimized. I also thought carefully about how to reference this work elsewhere without triggering admins, using soft language about quiet exploration rather than invitations or links.

Later in the day, my attention shifted to very practical things. I noticed a sore bump on my inner thigh that had been there for about a week. I learned that warm compresses, gentle cleansing, and simple over-the-counter treatments are often enough. In Canada, that meant Polysporin Original or Complete, zinc oxide creams like Sudocrem or Penaten, and possibly ichthammol if needed. I picked up a triple antibiotic ointment at Walmart and felt reassured I’d chosen the right thing.

I wandered into Walmart this afternoon, looking casually for a cheap shelf to display my medals. I reminded myself that inexpensive doesn’t mean wrong, and that it’s okay to test ideas before committing.

2025-12-15 - New Timmy's

Later in the day I had a 5:15 p.m. Urgent Care appointment to have my leg checked and hopefully get imaging. They sent a request for an x-ray on my left knee to the hospital.

After my appointment I stopped at the new Tim Hortons on Cliffe Avenue in Courtenay. I’d only ever used the drive-thru before, never sat inside. I brought my laptop, sat down, and made myself visible (see photo to the left). That’s when Rod walked in. I’ve chatted with him before at the Tim Hortons in Comox, but always while he was working. This time, it was casual. He told me it was his first time in the new building too. We talked, and he invited me to his church. What struck me wasn’t destiny, but reciprocity. I hadn’t chased anything. I’d just shown up differently.

I thought carefully about how to hold that invitation. Not as meaning, not as obligation, but as a door I could look at without deciding yet. Later, when he gave me his phone number, I debated whether to text. I chose to send a simple, clean message acknowledging the encounter without adding weight or expectation: that it was nice to run into him, thanks for the invitation, hope he was having a good evening. No Christmas greetings, no future commitments. Just good social hygiene.

Throughout the day, I kept returning to grounding practices. I updated my micro-seeds for Monday, keeping them ordinary, sensory, and easy for the subconscious to accept. I framed the day with a calm, grounded tone and gratitude for steadiness and ease already done. By the end of the day, nothing dramatic had happened, but something important had shifted. I wasn’t waiting. I was participating. Quietly, humanly, and without inflation.
