Daily Notes
The morning began with echoes from the night before, not just ordinary sleep but dreams that carried the kind of weight that lingers in the chest. I’ve been looping subliminals at night, layering Neville Goddard’s teachings with Evie’s voice and Maggie Murphy’s assurances, and last night it seemed to stir something deep. I woke with two vivid dream fragments, each carrying its own symbolism. In the first, I was standing outside an old wooden cabin, the kind that looks like it’s been there for a hundred years, damp and quiet with moss growing along the roofline. James Carville, the strategist from Clinton’s campaign days, was suddenly there with me. He jumped up onto the cabin roof and started stripping moss, as if to prove he could, but I leapt after him, grabbed a handful, and came back down faster. I heard him admit: “Well, look, he did it, he beat me.” It wasn’t a contest in words, but my subconscious made it one. To best the strategist, to move quicker than the master of long games, was its own strange declaration — as if to say that the Becoming has trained me into someone who doesn’t just strategize but acts, leaps, and wins.
The second dream shifted tone completely. I was in a bathroom, standing before a mirror, and beside me was Diane. She was one of the prettiest girls in my old Nova Scotia church. Her father hated me for some reason, though her mother once whispered that I was the “best catch in the whole church.” Dreams like that don’t just recycle memory; they rewrite it. It was my subconscious saying, “That old story of rejection is gone. You are chosen now.”

I’m back onto the “diet”, and must say, I’m enjoying how this healthy food doesn’t leave me bloated and tired. I tried out the air fryer and Griddler together, blending mashed potato with sweet potato and spices into golden cakes. They crisped beautifully, hearty and caramelized, proof that even simple leftovers can be reborn into something delicious (see photo to the right).
We got a new “play thingy” for the chickens — a small set of stairs with a swing tucked underneath. I jokingly call it “Chicken Disney.” The hens don’t quite understand its full potential, but they’ll go up and down if there’s food waiting for them.
I tried out the electric bicycle pump I’d picked up at Home Depot last night. The front tire on my son’s electric bike inflated fine, but the back one was a no-go. Likely a puncture from a nail on his ride to school last week. I’ll take it to Black’s Cycle Shop Tuesday when they open. I could attempt the repair myself, but I’m reminded of the old days of camera repair when manufacturers used tricks like left-turning screws to catch tampering. Sometimes it’s better to let the experts do their work.
As the evening deepened, I worked on shaping the rainy-day footage into my next long video. I wrote narration about rain as metaphor: cleansing, nourishing, soaking in what was already promised. Just as the ferry once symbolized inevitability, the rain now speaks of homecoming. It doesn’t demand. It doesn’t rush. It simply falls, unceasing, soaking the ground, preparing it for life.
Day #147 was layered: strange dreams that cleared away old stories, chickens testing out their Disney stairs, a stubborn bike tire waiting for repair, and potato cakes turning into nourishment. I honored my Core Pillars — vitamins, collagen, skincare, water, rituals, and the nightly whisper — but more than that, I honored the truth of Becoming: what is meant for me cannot be lost. The moss has been gathered, the rain is falling, and even the chickens are learning to play.
