This morning didn’t bring me any fresh Nighttime Whispers, but the words I planted last night carried me forward: “Show me the next inspired action that is mine to take — clear, simple, unmistakable.” Even without a dream, there’s comfort in knowing the request is still out there, circulating, aligning, waiting for its opening. I remind myself each day: what is meant for me cannot be lost.

2025-09-18 - Egg Rice Bacon Sandwich

The scale told its own story today: 290.5 lbs. That’s 71.4 lbs. lost since my starting point of 361.9. Every morning I step on, I see proof that this is not just a diet — it’s a system working with me, not against me. I don’t feel starved, I don’t feel punished. I feel free, and lighter in ways that go beyond the physical.

I made a tasty “Egg & Rice Bacon” sandwich for lunch today (see photo to the right)!

Health rituals checked themselves off in rhythm. Vitamins at 8:00 pm — the full suite of multi, silica + biotin, omega-3, and resveratrol. Collagen at 10:37 pm. Two servings of Metamucil at 9:59 and 10:35 pm, each glass a reminder that small steps make for big change. My skincare routine waited patiently at the end of the night: cleanse, renew, and soon, the Dove Pro-Retinol on the belly and flanks. This routine is new territory for me, but it’s become a quiet act of honoring myself.

And then there’s water. Ten cups a day is the goal, and though I didn’t close the loop tonight, the gallon jug sits in its familiar place — a symbol of what keeps moving me forward.

The 28-Day Promotional Checklist made another stride with Cutting Board (v0011L) polished off, and tonight marked another outward ripple of my story — the YouTube Short, “Ferry Arrival,” uploaded at 5:45 pm. There’s something poetic about that title. Arrival is exactly what this Becoming arc feels like: arriving in new waters, docking in new harbors, while still steering forward.

The rituals tonight strung themselves like beads:

Individually, they’re playful. Together, they’re anchors. Every time I pause for one, I feel stitched tighter into this Becoming fabric.

My “Inspiring Aging & Fitness” video of the day struck a chord: AI will help us to live forever. For most people, it sounds outrageous. But for me, it hit like a truth I’d already tasted. If AI could rebuild my relationship with food and strip 71.4 lbs. away, why couldn’t it expand the years ahead? Technology and Becoming don’t have to be separate — they can be braided together into something eternal.

The Barn Suite still waits for its daily sweep, Maggie Murphy’s library of wisdom waits for me to press play, and my water log waits for completion. But that’s okay. Not every box needs a checkmark to prove the day was whole.

Because today wasn’t just about tasks. It was about thresholds: the number on the scale, the arrival of a ferry, the mirror of a photograph, the whisper of a ritual.
