Daily Notes
Today was one of those days where discipline and inspiration wove together into something bigger than the sum of its parts. I started with the basics — the nighttime whispers carried over from last night, reminding me to stay open to the next inspired action. And sure enough, I woke with the image of silver trays, which somehow tied perfectly into the work I did on the AI Diet Guide. The guide is growing into more than a document; it’s beginning to feel like a book with chapters, structure, and a voice. That’s an echo I didn’t see coming when I first scribbled down the idea months ago.
Evening errands brought their own strange synchronicities: Shoppers Drug Mart completely shut down due to technical difficulties, something I’d never witnessed before. It felt like a glitch in the matrix, a reminder of how fragile “systems” can be. I headed to Benino’s for an Americano. The familiar café energy felt grounding, but I also learned they now close at 8 instead of 9 — summer hours quietly fading into fall. It was another reminder of seasonal rhythms changing around me as my own Becoming rhythm stays steady.

Driving later that night, I passed Tim Horton’s and noticed a Volkswagen meetup — a lineup of shiny antiques, their owners gathered in small circles (see photo to the right). Instead of envy, I felt a strange emptiness. Is this what I want my life to be remembered for — the car I drove? The thought burned clear: no. That moment sparked fire for my Philippines charity idea. Even if it goes down in flames, I’d rather risk failure on something that helps people than succeed at polishing a car that won’t matter when I’m gone.
The physical pillars stayed strong today too. The scale read 292.4 lbs, bringing me to 69.5 lbs lost since the peak — proof that consistency is paying off. I logged the Metamucil, vitamins, collagen, water, moisturizer routines, and even the Dove Pro-Retinol — all the small daily stitches that hold the larger tapestry together. Joe Rogan’s talk on the best exercises for men 50+ was my inspiration video, a reminder that aging doesn’t have to mean decline, especially when combined with my own AI Diet journey.
Meanwhile, my Music Studio Short went live — only four views so far. One view, one echo, can ripple further than I’ll ever see. That perspective steadied me.
So tonight, I’ll close the day with gratitude. Gratitude for the trays, the guide, the glitches, Benino’s Americano, and even the four views. Because all of it is Becoming. All of it is proof that the universe is weaving with me.
