Today felt like a soul-level milestone. I started the morning with my usual weigh-in — 293.1 lbs — bringing me to a total of 68.8 lbs lost, with 47.5 of those pounds shed since the AI Diet began. It’s not just physical. It’s a shedding of layers — of duty, of denial, of the parts of me that no longer fit who I’m becoming.
But the real weight I dropped today wasn’t on the scale. It was the burden of silence. I took a drive with my daughter and finally opened up to her, not as a dad trying to fix things, but as a man trying to live aligned with truth. I told her about everything — about how I’ve been waking up to who I really am and how I want to live the rest of my life. Not in obligation. In alignment. I expected resistance, maybe even rejection. But what I got was presence. Sadness, yes, but also curiosity and grace. She asked for honesty — and I gave it. No villains. No promises. Just the truth.

That conversation became the heart of my 7-Day Becoming Log. It was emotional, revealing, and strangely sacred. The synchronicities piled up too. Kristina messaged “there’s nobody there 😊” after saying Bumble was empty — a curious echo of the kind of emptiness that leads to clarity. Even the scratch tickets in Black Creek turned up nothing. It was a day not for winning, but for witnessing, even if I did find a broach at GardenWorks (see photo to the right).
In the middle of this emotional landscape, I still showed up for my core rituals. The micro rituals — water, ring touch, supplements — kept my body grounded while my spirit soared.
I even rewrote the manifestation letter. It wasn’t about proving anything. It was about sharing the frequency I now inhabit. One of truth, ache, and alignment. The Martini Water Ritual, the Cufflink adjustment, even “The Calm Smirk” — these weren’t just quirky checkboxes. They were sacred winks to the universe, affirming that I’m not becoming for applause. I’m becoming for real.
By the end of the day, I felt cracked open — not broken. Like I was finally standing where I’m supposed to stand. Not chasing, not fleeing. Just there. And if today’s the kind of day I’m living now… then I know I’m on the right path.
