Daily Notes
After dropping my son off at school I went to Trader Joe’s for some groceries. Boy has inflation ever taken its toll on Trader Joe’s prices! The four bags of groceries that I picked up in the photo to the right were almost $170! Wow!
I went to Panera Bread for a coffee after TJs, and then back for another coffee before picking him up at Spence’s Farm, but I didn’t spend any time inside in order to read about the “Law of Attraction” or do anything else for that matter.
I did come up with a revelation today though. Not really a revelation, but something that I thought of and touched my heart. I suppose that you could say that I got it. What I need to do is to think mindfully of each moment of my life while I’m going through that moment and be grateful of it and the little bits of joy that I can find around in that particular moment.
For example, while I was driving to pick my son up at Spence’s Farm, I thought of the moment of driving the car. How great it is to have a sunny day, and a car that works. How great it is that I have my health and can breathe fresh air. Stuff like that. I think that if I do this more, the negative thoughts of my life will diminish.
I just now need to figure out some sort of a routine so that I will follow this practice, and perhaps incorporate some of the “Processes” that Abraham Hicks talks about in “Ask & It Is Given” to solidify it into my daily routine.
