This morning began with that quiet sort of expectancy that has no name. The kind that isn’t demanding anything — just listening.
I didn’t have a plan for today, not really. Just the intent to stay aware and watch for the small things.
I thought about how Neville talks about the Bridge of Incidents — how life arranges itself once you accept a new state of being. And I thought about how Tolle says the same thing, but differently: “Be still, and let life move through you.”
So I went out for coffee again. I let the Universe pick the place.
First I thought of Quality Foods, but as I pulled in, someone took the spot in front of me. That felt like a nudge — not rejection, just redirection. So I followed it. Starbucks didn’t feel right either — too cramped, too loud. Then I remembered Benino’s, and something in me said, “Yes. There.”

My favorite seat was taken, but I found one near the window — a new vantage point. Two college girls were studying at a nearby table, and for a second, I wondered if maybe this was the bridge, some scene or connection unfolding in plain sight. But then I realized — maybe the point wasn’t to see the bridge, but to sit still long enough for it to appear on its own.
