This morning felt like a turning point — not just because it was Day #123 of my Becoming, but because the kids finally headed back to school after summer break. “The party’s over,” I thought, but part of me welcomed it. The structure, the focus, the sense of a new season beginning — all of it matched the work I’ve been doing these past 100+ days.

I kept my Daily Core Pillars alive. I weighed in at 292.9 lbs. — that’s 69 pounds gone since my restart — and updated my tracker with pride. Supplements and self-care routines unfolded like clockwork: Metamucil three times, vitamins and collagen in the evening, and my moisturizer/retinol rituals that remind me this body is worth tending. Each step is small, yet each one whispers: I’m different now. I drank my 10 cups of water, checked off my Nighttime Whisper affirmation, and carried the quiet hope that the universe will start showing me more clearly where all of this is leading.

Errands gave the day texture. I tried setting up a separate checking account at my credit union for “The AI Diet Plan,” but the online system flopped. I phoned in and got stuck on hold. Part of me wondered: is this a sign not to force it? I’ve lived so many years chasing things, pressing forward into walls. Maybe now the lesson is patience: to let the right channel open at the right time.

I also worked on content. I recorded a fresh weight-loss video this afternoon and moved my AI Diet Guide forward despite the banking snag. On the creative side, I began shaping a new YouTube Short — “Preparing the Frequency,” about my music studio setup. It felt good to bridge physical transformation with artistic Becoming.

The kids came home with their own stories of “first day back,” and I felt a small alignment: they’re starting their new school season as I continue mine. Their school is about classes and friends; mine is about rituals, discipline, whispers, and writing. But the spirit is the same: learning, growing, preparing for what’s next.

2025-09-03 - McDonalds

Tonight, while having a coffee at McDonalds (see photo to the right), I was reminded of something Rhonda Byrne once said: “When you hit rock bottom, all the resistance in your body is gone.” At first, I wasn’t sure how to take it. Rock bottom always sounded like defeat — like failure, shame, or an ending. But the way she explained it, and the way it landed in me, felt different.

When you’ve been fighting for years — your whole body tightens with resistance. You’re constantly pushing, bracing, and straining against life. But when you finally reach that place of exhaustion, when you’re just too tired to force anymore, something loosens. The fight drains out of you. And that moment, instead of being a collapse, can actually be an opening.

That’s the paradox: rock bottom isn’t the end — it’s the clearing. It’s the moment where the walls you’ve built come down, where there’s no more energy left to resist what’s been trying to reach you all along. In that quiet, the universe finally has space to flow in. Rock bottom becomes fertile soil. Receiving becomes possible.

I’m beginning to see my own tiredness differently now. Instead of judging it as weakness, I can treat it as proof that my resistance is leaving me. I don’t need to fight anymore. I only need to open. And that shift changes everything.

Tonight, as I checked off my list one last time and turned on my nighttime subliminal, I thought: the party may be over, but that’s not the same as saying joy is over. This is the season of steady joy, quiet joy, Becoming joy. And Day #123 will stand in my memory as the first real day of this new term.
