Day #0874 – (Sun., Jan. 18, 2025) – (ChatGPT #0260 – Starbucks In Courtenay!) (SD:D#2: -20.2 lbs.)

Another relaxing Sunday in the Comox Valley has rolled around… Here comes item #1 on my “ToDo List”: (You can use these symbols: ✅).

Soup Diet… Day #002 (6/14–>50%=Win!) (<290 Today? – Nope!)

So I’m going to start this next month with a new format and see how it goes. I’ve been doing primarily lists for the past few years, but I thought I would try something different…

The main goal is to: get back to <290 lbs.

I’m still going to have “ToDo” Lists at heart, but this time I’m going to couch these “ToDo” items in paragraphs to provide a narrative on what needs to be done. In doing so, hopefully I will get myself into the mood of getting things done. The goal is to complete the “ToDo” items in the paragraphs no matter what each day, with a lot of regular “ToDo” items to follow these paragraphs if I happen to feel extra “energetic” and want to get more done. Ready? Here goes…

To start off each day, record my weight as I have been doing so far:

  • #01: 📈 Weigh yourself! (361.9 lbs. – 320.4 lbs. = 41.5 lbs. total weight loss.)
  • ✅ #02: 📉 Record Weight Down in Title!
  • ✅ #03: 😴 Record any Nighttime Whispers! (“The Voice That Entered The Dream!”)

The main go for the next month or so is to focus more on my health and getting back down to <290.0 lbs., which I did do last August, but have gone up considerably since then. I need to put the benefits of losing weight at the forefront of my mind:

  • To simply feel better.
  • To be able to walk faster.
  • Walking in Philippines.
  • Shins.
  • Prolong Knees.

To do this I will be going back to the basics, and initially adopting Andrew Taylor’s SpudFit diet, of only potatoes and condiments for the next month. This can/will include both regular and sweet potatoes, almond milk, “sugar” included condiments but “without fat”, tea, coffee, Zevia, 0% alcohol beer, and water.

Today was one of those quietly intense days where the outer world looks normal, but the inner world is doing major work. It started with something unusual: last night, while I was sleeping, I had a kind of spiritual/psychological moment where the audio I was listening to actually entered my dream. It was one of those monotone subliminal-style voices — a guy speaking in a steady, almost hypnotic way — and in the middle of deep sleep I could actually hear him. Not faintly. Clearly. As if my subconscious had opened a door and the voice walked straight in. I didn’t fully catch the exact words, but I woke up with the feeling that it mattered. It felt like evidence. Like a demonstration from reality itself that the subconscious is always listening… and maybe it listens best when I stop trying.

Later, I came across a video from Life by Lucy where she explained what she believes is the real reason some manifestations take a long time and some happen immediately. Her epiphany was simple: we create resistance by doubting ourselves. We keep asking if we’re doing it right — the vision board, the affirmation, the scripting, the technique — and that constant uncertainty becomes the brake. Her message was basically: trust yourself. Trust that you know how to figure it out. And the timing of that message, coming on the same day as the dream-audio moment, felt like the Universe underlining a theme: less forcing, more trust.

2026-01-18 - Starbucks

In the early evening I felt the urge to get out. I wanted coffee, and I was thinking Benino’s, but I decided to do something different. I literally spoke to the Universe and asked to be guided — where do you want me to go? And almost immediately the idea came: go to Starbucks and place some business cards around. So I drove to Starbucks in Courtenay (see photo to the right), and even though it was just ordinary life — a parking lot, a coffee shop, a Boston Pizza nearby — it felt like I was participating in my own Bridge of Incidents. Not by chasing some miracle, but by moving. By being visible. By letting intersections happen.

I decided I’d place ten cards total around that Starbucks/Boston Pizza area and treat it as an experiment. It’s funny how my life has been shifting lately: I’m not just “thinking about becoming” — I’m building systems in public. I’m doing marketing as ritual. And I’ve noticed that something about that motion changes my inner state. It makes me feel reachable. It makes me feel like I’m living in the end — not in fantasy, but in identity.

So today had three major themes running through it like invisible thread: subconscious impression, trust, and integrity. The dream proved my subconscious is permeable. Lucy’s video reminded me to stop checking and start trusting.

Tonight I’m ending the day feeling grounded — not because everything is solved, but because the path feels clean again. I’m still moving forward. I’m still building my newsletter. I’m still becoming. But I’m doing it with better hands now. Cleaner hands. And that matters — because whatever love arrives in my life, I want it to arrive without harm. Blessed without betrayal. Safe without prison.
