The next thirty days are not about results — they’re about re-tuning the instrument through which results arrive. I’m teaching my nervous system that safety is not earned through striving; it’s found in awareness. When my body learns to rest, my imagination becomes fertile again. That’s what this Stillness Experiment will do — it rewires the baseline from effort to ease.
I breathe, and air fills my lungs without permission. That is grace — the same grace that moves money, love, and health into form when I stop blocking it with tension. Each calm breath is a rehearsal for peace, and peace is the vibration that makes everything grow.
If lack appears, I smile — that’s an echo, not a prophecy. If desire stirs, I feel it real for a heartbeat, then release it into faith. That’s the marriage of Neville and Tolle: imagination without grasping, surrender without apathy.

Today unfolded in a way that felt quiet on the surface but deeply meaningful underneath — a day where Stillness, manifestation, memories, routines, and even flight simulation all wove together into one long thread.
I woke up late today, later than I meant to. The morning had that groggy “coming up out of a dream” feeling, and this time the dream stayed with me. I had been in a suburban house, and the neighbor — angry, accusing, barging in at what he said was 2 a.m. — confronted me about something my son had “broken.” In the dream, my son had swapped the neighbor’s broken item with a similar one from our home because he was too embarrassed to admit it. It immediately reminded me of something from years ago involving a former friend who stole from me — the emotion, not the details. The Stillness Experiment and this Daniel Day-Lewis presence practice seem to be dredging up old, unresolved emotional pockets. I woke up feeling like this was something inside me asking for release, not something in the outer world that needed fixing.

Even though I woke up emotionally stirred, there was no time to linger — I needed to get to Shar-Kare for chicken feed. I rushed out the door and handled that first. From there, I headed to Staples to return some Amazon packages for Pearl. Once that was done, I considered going to Starbucks in Courtenay for lunch, but my daughter was hanging out with her friend Emma, and I figured I’d be picking her up soon enough. Instead of going too far, I crossed the bridge back to the Comox side and stopped at Canadian Tire to grab some dish towels (see photo to the right).
Later in the day, I passed through the McDonald’s drive-thru and grabbed a small coffee — one oat cream (“Oak Green”) and one Splenda. I took it to the Courtenay hospital cafeteria, which has become a strange little sanctuary for me lately. That’s where I watched today’s Maggie Murphy video (#0022), “4D Manifestation & 3D Experience: Both Are Present Moment.” Her message was that when you live from the “already done” state — truly from it — you start living in the present moment almost all the time, and life begins creating around you effortlessly. I want that stage. I’m honest about that. But I also admitted: my own Joseph Alai lists haven’t shown any clear “hits” yet. I’ve logged 40–50 items, and none have surfaced. Something feels off, even though part of me knows I’m in the early phase where things are clearing internally before they appear outwardly.
At 7:15 p.m., I left the hospital to pick up my daughter from her friend Samma’s place and drove her home. After dropping her off, I took the van to Home Depot to pick up a couple of two-by-fours so we can add more roosts in the chicken coop.
Then, somehow predictably, I ended up at McDonald’s again. It was 8:33 p.m. I redeemed a free cheeseburger using McDonald’s points and got a large coffee with two Oak Green and two Splenda. I settled in there to read today’s section of The Power of Now — Ch. 9 §1–2 — which was all about noticing the quiet “okay-ness” of the present moment. Fitting, given the tone of this entire day.
Tonight I also spent time in Microsoft Flight Simulator. I managed to get airborne in a Cessna but kept stalling when trying to turn back toward the airport. I learned the reason: not enough airspeed, turning too steeply, climbing while turning, flaps still down — all beginner mistakes. I asked for a turn-back training lesson, and discovered the key: level off first, gain speed, then make a gentle 15–20° coordinated turn. And I finally understood where the flaps indicator appears on screen — something I couldn’t see before. Little by little, I’m piecing it together.
Somewhere in all of this, I asked myself the bigger question:
Am I becoming… or have I already become?
And the answer that came back — from Stillness, from Neville, from Tolle, from this whole Becoming journey — was both. In 4D, I’ve already become. In 3D, I’m becoming into what I already am.
As the night winds down, I realize today wasn’t random at all. It was a convergence — dreams, errands, coffee rituals, manifestation teachings, the Turn-Back Lesson in Flight Simulator, the feeling that everything is pointing in the same direction: the quiet, steady truth that I’m already home inside myself.
